So far everything was going to plan.
Mabel's rescue squad consisted of herself, Ford, Stan, Pacifica, Robbie, Gideon, Wendy, Soos, and McGucket. Many other survivors wanted to join them but Ford said no. It was too dangerous for them. He only allowed the people he needed to join them.
This has to happen... For Dipper. Mabel thought to herself as she and the squad sneakily ran past the demons that lined the streets.
Little did the humans know that those demons weren't just not noticing them. No- they knew the humans were there, thinking they were outsmarting them. They weren't.
Mabel and her group were 'ready'... or so they thought.
They knew their plan inside and out. They've spent the past two days going over and mastering it. There was no way it could be messed up. It was foolproof.
Right?

Pine-Tree walked around the seemingly endless halls and rooms completely bored out of his mind. He didn't know what to do, there was nothing for him really to do except perhaps keep walking around mindlessly.
He could go to his room to read or draw but he didn't really want to for some reason. You can only really do something for so long before it starts to get boring. He's read every book Bill has given him. He could always go and ask the demon for more but- again- he didn't want to. He didn't feel like doing that.
Pine-Tree could go ask Pyronica or Kryptos to play with him but he didn't want to. It's so strange. He's always had things to do but he never wants to do any of it. Only once in a while does he want to. It's interesting.
The only thing he really wants to do is talk to Ensley.
She always knows exactly how to cheer him up very fast. In fact, her smile alone is enough to cheer up an entire room of sad people. It was what made her so special. So different- so... incredibly likable. To Bill and his friends she's just seen as a servant they can push around but Pine-Tree sees her as an amazing friend who has so much more to her personality than anyone else sees.
Where even is she? He hasn't seen her since Bill called her away a few hours ago. In fact he hasn't really seen much of anyone, where could everybody be? It was strange for him not to see anyone.
He's gone around about half of the entire Fearamid and nothing. It's so strange. It made something just feel... off.
He didn't know what it was but something was off. It made him feel on edge... like something was going to happen. Something good or something bad is what he didn't know. The fact that he didn't know added a hint of fear in him.
Maybe he was just being crazy, nothing was going to happen.

Ensley was pacing back and forth in front of Bill, almost hyperventilating.
"Get your pathetic self together." Bill growled at her. Tears started falling from her eyes, she tried to hide them but she couldn't anymore.
"I-I don't think I can d-do this, Sir..." She mumbled in response, her voice breathy and her words very spread out. There was no way she could do this... not to him. How could Bill even think of doing this after all this time?!
"Hahaha! You don't get a choice! So quit the tears." Bill laughed at her weakness but then he noticed it.
"They're here~" He sang out.
Ensley's heart dropped as her eyes went wide, her tears halting. They can't be. Not yet. No. No. No, no, no, no! Please no! It can't be happening!
"P-P-Please n-no..." The fairy mumbled, as she slowly started backing away from Bill.
