Throughout the next few days Bill decided to FINALLY spend some quality time with Pine-Tree.

The two went around the country watching all the chaos unfold. Together the two destroyed America's capitol, Washington D.C.

All the mortals watched in utter horror as The White House was burnt to dust and all the national monuments were demolished. The Statue of Liberty was no more, The Liberty Bell, Devil's Tower, Independence Hall, Mount Vernon, Monticello, Fort Sumter, Muir Woods, National Mall, The Washington Monument, Capitol Hill... everything that represented Freedom, Liberty, Independence, and Hope was destroyed first.

Then it 'ended' with a public execution of the first family, then all members of government, and finally the President himself. All done by a human child with magic abilities, but that's not what frightened the humans... What frightened them was the smile on the kid's face.

He didn't appear to regret anything he was doing... At least not on the outside.

He hesitated before doing almost everything but every time he did something that caused destruction or pain Bill praised him greatly. It made him feel very proud of himself after it was done.

Eventually his ears slowly tuned out the screams of fear, pain, and agony. The only thing he could hear was Bill's words of encouragement and praise.

"Oh yeah! Run like cowards!" Pine-Tree teased and laughed as he flew up and set a large building ablaze. All the mortals who were hiding inside ran out and into the hands of the surrounding demons waiting to capture them.

"HAHAHA! Oh how amusing!" Bill laughed, grabbing Pine-Tree flying up high into the clouds, though low enough so that he could breathe properly. "Isn't this just magnificent?!"

The boy smiled and nodded his head. "It sure is!"

"Yup! And this entire dimension is all ours to shape and mold however we want!" Bill exclaimed happily. "And what happens if they try to stop us?"

"We tear off their arms and use them as golf clubs and use their eyeballs as golf balls!"

The demon laughed his hat off. "Got that right! That's my little havoc-wreaking nightmare!" He said, ruffling the kid's hair.

"What an outstanding sight we have here, homes burning, trees burning, grass burning, lives burning. It's perfect!" Bill exclaimed, enjoying the moment with Pine-Tree.

However, to Bill's understanding even though it's only been a few days since his chaos has gone global, there's already a bunch of rebellion squads brewing up in several countries.

Luckily, Bill and his minions haven't left North America yet, but of course all the humans that live on the other continents will soon learn their place and what horrible consequences they will have to face should they ever step out of it.

And the best part, almost - if not - all of the punishments will come from the hands of a child from their own race

Ensley walked through the deserted streets of Gravity Falls, everything is in ruins. Not a single soul anywhere, human or demon.

All the humans are either dead, turned to stone or hiding and all the demons are out with Bill destroying the rest of the world. On a normal day she'd be right out there with them, assisting and running errands but not now.

She hasn't left Gravity Falls at all.

She doesn't have the strength to.

It's been a couple of days since she's seen Pine-Tree last. The horrified face he had when he saw her still haunts her mind and soul. How dare she do such a thing to him. He didn't deserve it. Any of it.

She wonders if he'll ever forgive her. He probably won't. He's probably not even thinking about her. He's probably out having the time of his life with Bill and everyone else.

This must be how things are meant to be... Ensley and Pine-Tree can't be lovers but maybe they weren't even supposed to be friends...

Ensley's wings hung low, almost touching the ground as she continued her slow walk down the street, avoiding building debris, falling street signs, power lines, and broken bits of just about everything lying around. Though- one thing caught her eye...

A hat. Sitting in the middle of the road right in front of her. She walked over to it and picked it up, it was a little burnt but still in quite good condition, it was a human hat. A white and blue one with a pine tree design on the front of it.

She gasped and dropped the hat, putting a hand on her mouth while trying to hold back the tears that were forming and falling from her eyes.

That's when she let it out... she cried. Sobbed, really. It seems she's been doing that a lot lately?

Why?

When she first started working for Bill she used to cry but eventually it stopped, she learned to put up a barrier around herself to protect her mind from the constant humiliation, belittlement, and sadness.

Where has that barrier gone?

Why has the barrier gone down?

Pine-Tree brought it down. He was able to get into her emotional field without a fight.

And Ensley was okay with this. All her trust in that boy was... something she's not experienced in decades. When she was around him... she felt... happy. Like everything around her was perfect. His adorable shining, dazzling blue eyes were enough to make her fall apart. His smile was so comforting and inviting and warm and loving...

And yet-

She pushed that away. For what? So Bill could destroy a dimension? She gave all of that up so Bill could get what he wanted. And it was one of the worst mistakes she could have ever made. She'd rather die than have to see that hurt, betrayed, and fearful expression on that cute little boy's face. How dare she be the cause of that. Never again. She needs to find Pine-Tree. She wants to make this right.

No. She has to make this right.

For Pine-Tree.
