~A while later~

Pine-Tree is sitting in the lab alone, he's not doing anything he's just sitting there, staring at a wall. His mind is so conflicted with doubt and fear. He doesn't know what to think or do or say or anything. What's happening to him?

These humans are messing with his brain, that's what! They're horrible! They're manipulating him more and more every second he sits in their territory. What is he going to do? He needs to get out of here!

Bill's waiting for him, he'll be there with a warm hug ready to greet him and take him home. Hopefully he'll get a punishment too. He deserves one for sharing so much information with the humans. How dare he.

Pine-Tree deserves to get yelled at for this one he doesn't at all want it, but feels he most certainly deserves it.

Bill would be so disappointed in him.

Meanwhile, Bill was sitting on his throne watching his henchmaniacs in front of him chase and torture a group of humans. He has turned to murder and torture in order to distract himself from the long, long wait till his Pine-Tree would return.

Even the obvious pain on human faces couldn't distract him from his anxiousness, it practically dripped off of him like water.

He did well at hiding it though. Only Ensley sort of noticed and even she didn't think it is as bad as it really is.

"NO PLEASE! I BEG OF YOU!" A human voice pleaded, followed by laughter from Bill's friends and screaming. "HAVE MERCY!"

Normally Bill would enjoy the heck out of this but he just can't seem to focus on it. He's waiting for his senses to go off.

After leaving Pine-Tree's dream a few days ago, Bill knew he couldn't just stand outside of The Mystery Shack until Pine-Tree was able to escape. So he did something else. Bill set up his own barrier around the shack that will inform him if the kid interacts or crosses it.

He wished he could just stand outside the Mystery Shack and wait, but alas, he can't. He's too busy trying to get out of Gravity Falls since those worthless mortals took Ford, he needs to figure out how to get out himself.

He would tell Pine-Tree to try and get the information but he needed the kid to focus on getting out of there. Only after he knows his Sapling is safe with him is when he can fully put his mind into something else.

Bill even read the third journal that Pine-Tree still had in his room. No information regarding the barrier was in it. He either needed to figure it out himself, get Ford to tell him, or read the other two jour-... wait...

After a few hours of long thinking, Pine-Tree went around the lab and gathered more paper and colored markers he found lying around and started to draw once more. It didn't take him long to get an initial sketch down.

A teardrop fell onto his paper. Then another and another. These humans made him so confused. The scientist seemed kind... but yet... he makes the kid feel like this.

He hated this. This was torture! His brain was fried... he was scared... terrified. He wanted out, he wanted nothing more than to run to Bill and watched as he punished these humans for daring to take him away.

"BILL! PLEASE HELP ME! PLEASE! HELP ME! H-HELP... h-help m-me..." the boy broke down in tears, crumpling the paper and throwing his drawing across the room, it hurt. His head, his mind, his heart, his everything. It all hurt and hurt badly.

He didn't want to continue drawing. He put the markers and extra paper aside, looking down at his reflection in the metal beneath him. He didn't look very good, he hadn't taken a shower in days, his eyes had bags, his hair was matted and tangled... he was a mess. Bill would never have allowed him to look this way.

Bill always wanted him to look his best.

Seeing him now, he doesn't think the demon would be pleased. He needs to change his clothes, maybe do his hair too. Pine-Tree looked towards the edge of the table, sitting there was a clean white t-shirt and black pants. He didn't want to put them on. They were plain and normal looking, but then again he needs to change clothes. The boy takes off his dirty old clothing and slips on the new and fixes his hair, he feels a lot cleaner and a bit happier now.

Meanwhile, Ford was upstairs talking with Stan; Grenda and Candy were playing games; and everyone else were doing their own things.

Mabel was in the attic by herself, fighting to keep herself under control. Being away from someone who has such a significant role in her life and family is seriously getting to the girl. Her friends helped temporarily but now nothing helped. The wait of a few days seemed like a few years...

It was utterly baffling. She was fine being away from him for 7 years but now she can't stand being away from him for just days.

She needed to see him. Needed to. Her mind couldn't take this anymore.

It was time and no one, not even Ford was going to stop her from seeing the brother she missed.
