Pine-Tree awoke, his eyes still closed, wanting to fall back to the wonders of rest. He sat up, the covers on him sliding down to his waist before his torso fell back down. He didn't want to get up.

The comfort of his bed and comforter was enough to keep him down. It was strange, it's like this bed was softer than his own-

The boy's eyes opened suddenly at the realization. He looked around and saw that he was in a room that was not his own. His heart dropped but then he understood where he was. He was in the mortal room. Someone must have put him here when he fell asleep.

Rubbing his eyes and yawning, he got up and looked around his new room. He really liked it, everything was a darker shade of blue than his old room, it was just perfect! All his stuff was there, the furniture was different, but that didn't matter. He made his way to what seemed like his wardrobe, all his clothes were there including his hats, shoes, and his cane that Bill gave him.

He looked down at himself, he was wearing his blue pajamas that he would always wake up in. Looking around his closet, he noticed how his sense of style wasn't that great. He didn't know what to wear and what makes this such a bad quality is the fact that he wears the same few pairs of clothes every day.

Suddenly the door to his room slowly opened. When he peaked towards it and saw that it was Ensley! The fairy he had befriended when he was younger!

"O-Oh... H-Hi..." he said, giving a little wave. She looked at him before flying towards him, both were silent. Ensley stopped just in front of him, they were the same height now, both had very child-like features.

Without warning Ensley wrapped her arms around the kid's shoulders. Taking Pine-Tree by surprise. He slowly hugged back. "I didn't know you were awake yet!" She said, letting go of him.

"I-I thought you weren't talking to me... I thought you were mad at me..." he responded, looking down.

Ensley seemed confused. "Mad at yo-" then she understood, that's what Bill probably told him. "I mean uh- I was but now I'm really happy and proud of you! You let us into this dimension! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She exclaimed, hugging him again.

"W-Well you're- you're welcome!" Pine-Tree laughed nervously.

She released him again before looking down at his shirt and then back at his face. "Do you need help getting dressed? We both know your sense of style is horrible."

Pine-Tree nodded, looking down. Ensley smiled and giggled a little bit before turning towards the boy's closet and pulling out a yellow dress shirt with black pants and shoes as well as a black bow-tie.

"There we go, this is style."

"Color me stoked! You always know what I enjoy wearing." Pine-Tree smiled.

Ensley smiled back at him. "Go ahead and change into those, I got some things I have to do, I'll see you around later!" She said, flying out of the room.

"Bye!" Pine-Tree yelled to her.

The boy got into his clothes and walked out of his room and started walking down the hall. The hallways were huge, with pillars going left right and everywhere, stairs leading to nothing but walls. The walls were black bricks with colorful cement holding them together.

Unsurprisingly, it didn't take Pine-Tree long to get lost in this new environment. So he started marking the hallways he's already gone through by using his powers to chip a tiny hole in the side.

Eventually, he started hearing music and talking coming from somewhere, but he had no idea where. He just kept walking. Towards wherever he thought it was coming from.

He seemingly got closer and closer until he was right next to it, he found the room where it was coming from.

He peaked around the corner to see his friends just sitting around and playing games, some were even dancing. He looked to the side where there was- a... hole in- the wall... Just- a random hole in the wall. Okay. The edges seem to be jagged so it appears it was made by someone or something blowing it open. He ignored that and kept looking around the room where he saw Bill just relaxing in mid-air, playing with something gold in his hands.

Just seeing Bill gave him the confidence to walk into the room, almost immediately 8-ball walked up to him. Though compared to him, Pine-Tree was the size of a cider bottle. Which is ironic because some of his friends are playing spin the bottle with a human that was turned to stone as the bottle. A little disturbing, but surely that human deserved it for being manipulative like Bill said.

8-Ball walked up to him and just gave a little hello before offering his hand for him to climb onto, he did just that, taking a seat on his palm while the demon took him up to Bill.

"Boss, I have a present for you."

Bill was a little confused by this but perked up when he noticed his 'present' was Pine-Tree.

"Pine-Tree!" He exclaimed, shrinking back down to the kid's size, picking him up off of 8-Ball's hand and bringing him down to the platform below.

"I hope you enjoyed your rest!" Bill said. Pine-Tree nodded, he did. Bill chuckled lightly.

Even if he sometimes had to force it, Bill always made sure the kid was well rested, watered, and fed. Couldn't have his Pine-Tree going uncared for, right?

"It was nice. I had an interesting dream-" The kid went on explaining his dream, how he was in the forest and found a treasure chest full of Gold. Being a dream demon, Bill already knew what his dream was about but he loved hearing him happily explain it in detail.

"And then the dream ended, it was so cool. But then I woke up and you won't believe what happened after!" Pine-Tree exclaimed excitedly.

"What?"

The boy's face brightened. "Ensley started talking to me again!!" He said, practically yelling from happiness.

Bill was silent for a non-noticeable second. "Did she now?" He said unemotionally.

"Yeah! She did! I guess she's not upset with me anymore! Isn't that great?!"

Bill went silent for another second. "Just perfect, kid." He said, seemingly in thought. Pine-Tree dismissed it, Bill is always in deep thought.

"Hey, Pine-Tree, while I'm figuring a few things out, why don't you go around with an eye-bat and help them find more of those pathetic meatsacks to turn to stone?"

With a little hesitation, the kid agreed, hopping on the top of an eye-bat and went off. Meanwhile Bill decided it was about time he took his chaos around the world, but first he had a few words saved for a certain little fairy.
