⚠️ TORTURE WARNING ⚠️

~

Alone...

Such an interesting word, isn't it? Alone.

A word that some people dread but to others it sounds like an oddly calming word.

It can mean someone is in a room without another person there with them. Perhaps they're waiting for another person to show up. Or maybe everyone else who was in the room left and they're just the last one to leave. Not bad, right?

Though sometimes there could be lots of people in the same room but yet someone can still describe themselves as being alone when clearly they physically are not.

Why do they do that?

How can they do that?

What does that mean?

Are they right in saying that?

What justifies it if they are right?

Would Pine-Tree be able to describe himself as alone? There are 11 others in this hallway with him. Why does he feel so alone? Is the feeling justified in his case?

Having his parental figure holding him by the back of his shirt and holding fire too close for comfort to him.

Also having the person he thought loved him and he loved back holding flaming swords to his head and neck.

The boy seemed very content for this kind of situation but the constant stream of tears rolling down his cheeks told an entirely different story. A story of pain and suffering; Sadness and betrayal.

Quite the lengthy tale, wouldn't you say?

How did he go from being a tiny young child who's memory has been lost to a boy about to be murdered by those he thought cared about him.

He was hated by his own race and he is now hated by both his parent and his lover. To which he doesn't even know why.

The world has suddenly turned against him and there's nothing he can do... but silently cry.

He can't speak, he can't move, he can't do anything but let the salty water flow from his eyes, listening to what's unfolding and trying to piece together what in the world is happening.

"So what is it going to be Stanford? Give me the equation and I'll let little Pine-Tree live. Don't and- well you might want to go get your blood-proof poncho." Bill said while looking at Pine-Tree, his insane expression never leaving, not even for a second. This not only horrified the humans, it also horrified Ensley, though- she wouldn't dare show it.

As for Pine-Tree himself, his tears of terror turned to tears of depression. He didn't want to pay any attention to what was happening anymore. He could do nothing to improve his situation. He had nothing to do but wait. Wait for Bill to release him so he could run away from it all or wait for death aka the release from the prison of his mind.

When Ensley noticed this- it was the saddest thing she could ever see. But she couldn't react... Bill would do much worse to her if she did.

"No! Don't hurt him! He had no part in this! Please, he didn't do anything!" Mabel screamed in terror.

Bill laughed. "Oh and if I do hurt him, what will you do huh?"

Suddenly Ford grew a massive amount of hatred inside and the normally calm and collected scientist was now impulsively rushing towards Bill who merely scoffed and snapped his fingers. Ensley nodded, flying towards the sprinting man and pointing her swords at the human.

Ford was quick to stop himself right before he was hit.

"Haven't you learned that you're weak yet?" Ensley said in a completely different tone from her normal voice. Her voice was normally warm, happy, and welcoming, but this tone was sassy, belittling, and cocky. "It's too late for your world but wouldn't you know it, you can still save your precious Nephew, can't you?!" The fairy said, laughing and flying around Ford as if to brag 'I'm more powerful than you.'

Ford said nothing. He was in thought. This was a very tough situation. Confusing too. The boy said that he enjoyed being around Bill, it appeared that their relationship was stable. Would Bill actually harm him?

But then again- it's Bill Cipher and a human child. Bill was probably manipulating the child into thinking he actually cared when in reality he just didn't want the boy to fight back or attempt to escape.

Clever on his part, horrible for Ford and the human race.

This was his great nephew being held hostage and being used as leverage. What was he supposed to do?! He can't let the kid die because then the zodiac wheel wouldn't be complete and there would be no chance to get rid of Bill. But in order for the zodiac to stay together he needs Dipper but the only way to get Dipper would be to give Bill the equation, but if he gives up the equation Bill's chows will be spread across the globe...

"I'm getting impatient Ford! Let me give you some motivation..." Bill said, bringing his hand closer to the boy's head.

"No!" Mabel and her friends yelled. Ford looked down silently, not knowing what to do.

Suddenly Bill's hand was on the kids head and shots of electricity were shot through his body.

Pine-Tree's tears intensified when he found that his entire body was in complete pain, all of his limbs felt like sharp pins and needles were being stabbed into him. He still couldn't move but instead of being forced silent, he was involuntarily yelling. He knew it was from the pain he was in.

"S-STOP! PLEASE IT H-HURTS!" Pine-Tree shouted.

"Bill, stop! He did nothing! He's just a boy!" Ford yelled, fighting back tears of his own from the stressful situation. Mabel was already sobbing behind him.

Relief flooded the kid's body and mind as the pain subsided, but he couldn't speak again...

"So what's it going to be?! Make your choice or I might just have to do that again but maybe longer." Bill threatened. "And how about more volts, huh? Make it more painful." He asked Ensley.

She put on the fakest evil smile she could put on and nodded her head. She couldn't speak either. Not from Bill but from her own distraught. She couldn't feel anything, she had to block all of her emotions out in order to get through this.

"No! Don't!" Ford shouted again.

He had to do something, he had many options but he had to choose the one he thought would have the best outcome...

"I'd like to propose..." he gulped, running the idea through his mind again, making sure it was logical. "A deal..."

Bill's eye widened. "Now we're talking! Hit me, Fordsie!" He exclaimed before snapping his fingers, Ensley flew over to him and took Pine-Tree out of his hand. He was shaking uncontrollably, breathing heavily, and silently sobbing. It took everything in her and more to not pull him into a hug and tell him how sorry she was.

Bill shrunk to Ford's eye level, waiting to hear his deal proposition.

"I'll give you the equation, just let the boy go and let us go home."

Bill thought for a moment. "You give me the equation and I'll let Pine-Tree go."

Ford shook his head. "No. It's him and all of us or you kill us all and none of us get what we want. You're trapped forever with no way out."

Bill threw his hands up and turned away. "Ugh! You mortals are so ANNOYING!" Bill shouted before thinking about the deal. His eye narrowed before he turned back towards Ford.

"Alright. You give me the equation, I'll let Pine-Tree go where he wants and you all go 'home'. Deal?" Bill proposed holding a flaming blue hand out. Ensley, Pine-Tree, and the mortals watched intensely. Ford thought for a moment but he only had a moment to think... he needed to make his choice now.

"Deal." He sighed, shaking Bill's hand. Everyone in the room gasped as the demon laughed maniacally and turned into stone. He flew into the mindscape and entered Ford's mind.

The fate of the Earth has been sealed.
