A few days later
Ford was staying strong as Bill continued to torture him in every way he could think of. Nothing was working. The demon was getting more agitated and stressed everyday, even Pine-Tree was incapable of calming him now.
Ford's body was covered in scratches, bruises, cuts, and even some fractures. Bill had tried every torture method he knew wouldn't kill him. Physical, mental, and emotional and still nothing came out of that tough mind of his. This guy had to have a weakness, Bill needed to find it. But how?
Then he realized Ford is doing this to protect his family and the rest of his dimension.
He does have one idea and it might be closer than he thinks.

Meanwhile- Bill hasn't allowed Pine-Tree to leave the Fearamid in what felt like ages because there has been a resistance team created out of the survivors who fight back every once in a while. He felt bad for the kid but he couldn't let the humans know he cares about Pine-Tree. He would probably destroy this entire dimension and everyone in it if they hurt the boy. Even if it meant he'd have to spend years looking for another dimension. But- if the mortals were smart they wouldn't do that.

Pine-Tree is wandering around the Fearamid, bored out of his mind. He still is conflicted from what Ensley did just a few days ago. The boy wanted to go out and forget about it but Bill hasn't let him leave lately, normally he wouldn't mind but- he's finally gotten his first taste of freedom- he wanted to keep it and hold it close.
Bill didn't let him do this, but he wasn't complaining, the demon was just trying to protect him, he always is- right? He sighed, he knew he was right but sometimes he questioned it. Bill was just a mystery to him, his emotions could never be read; his thoughts could never be read; he was absolutely insane. It was frustrating at first but after a while he got used to it. It's what made Bill different from everyone, it made him weird. The demon taught him from a very young age that being weird was a good thing.
In fact, he was weird too! He has a strange birthmark on his head that was the shape of The Big Dipper. Dipper... That's a weird word- Dipper. It's funny to say too- Dipper Dipper Dipper. If you say it for a long time it starts to sound like you're saying 'Diber'.
Though, something nagged at the kid. Why did saying this word sound so right to him? He didn't know and he never thought he would know, but it still got to him.
He shook the thought out of his head and kept walking around, passing a few servants and demons every few minutes. Pine-Tree found a little bit of enjoyment when he would wander so long he'd get lost. When this happened he never really panicked- he did when he got lost the first few times but after that it didn't scare him anymore.
He'd always find his way eventually but if he didn't, Bill, Ensley, or one of the Henchmaniacs would always come find him. Today would be a little different though.
Like usual he got himself lost- not paying attention to where he was going but rather deep in thought; thinking about virtually nothing, but a sudden and unexpected pinch and sting in his tiny arm harshly pulled him out of his thoughts and back to the world around him. The sudden shock distracted him from feeling the fear he should have felt.
"Wait a minute-" a female voice said behind him. However, Pine-Tree didn't hear anything else before the room had gotten dark and he fell into the arms of a human.

Preoccupied and unaware of what was happening, Bill decided that it was time to try his new idea. He was going to threaten Ford. No, not threaten to hurt him - as if that would do anything - no he was going to threaten to do the same thing he had done to him, to his brother and young niece. Certainly that would break him. The equation to get out of Gravity Falls, for the safety of his dear family. If the mere threat did not work Bill would of course follow through on his threats.
The demon knew Ford more than Ford knew himself. When he was young he allowed Bill into his mind for over a year after all, giving him access to everything about him.
Bill knew seeing his family suffering in front of him would completely shatter his mental state, forcing him to submit. It was a fool proof plan.
Though- there was one problem that soon revealed itself.
Bill screamed in pure frustration and anger as he looked at the empty prison cell in front of him. His voice turned demonic as his hands started shooting fireballs, destroying holes in the walls around him. That six-fingered freak was a statue made of gold! How in The Nightmare Realm did he get away?!
That's when he felt it. He felt a group of worthless mortals in his palace. Of course they would come for old Fordsie. The only ones here of any interest to them are of course himself, Ford, and-... Pine-Tree...
Bill's anger turned to a bit of panic as he quickly teleported to the boy's room. He wasn't there. He rushed around the Fearamid, the Library, the throne room, every hallway, every room. Asking as many passing demons and servants as he could if they knew where Pine-Tree was. All said no- when he asked Ensley, she said she hadn't seen him for the whole day, the only time she saw him was when she put his clothes out while he was sleeping.
She and a few others including Pyronica and Kryptos also started searching alongside Bill. All came out empty handed. Though- through their search they made a shocking discovery that made it clear what had happened... a small needle and a large crack between two bricks, relatively small to them but large enough for a human to climb through. After discovering this- Bill fell into an even larger and kind of desperate rage fit. Destroying several walls, horrifying everyone, and killing several servants in the process of releasing his anger.
