Throughout the day, Ensley couldn't stop thinking.

She watched as Pine-Tree and Bill finished up their learning session. Though- Bill was a little quiet.

Pine-Tree didn't seem to notice. That or he noticed but didn't say anything about it. Bill is the most mysterious demon in the whole multiverse, but it is rather odd for a demon made of sarcasm, anger, and mystery would be so quiet all of a sudden. It was very strange indeed, very strange.

Either way Bill dismissed the kid about halfway through the day, satisfied with the work they got done. When he walked out, Pine-Tree saw Ensley waiting for him.

He went up and greeted her with a smile on his face, she returned the greeting and they went off, walking through the halls.

"So- what did you learn this time?" Ensley asked him curiously.

"Well- I just learned some random stuff, though I did learn a teleportation spell.. but it's very tiring." Pine-Tree answered. "Oh! But I also learned the one, stand back."

The fairy obeyed, sucking behind a wall, peaking around the corner of it in order to see what the kid was talking about. When she looked she saw him floating in the air, his face emotionless, and his eyes glowing blue. The flames coming from his hands were also quite intense, causing Ensley to shield her face from it.

Suddenly everything including Ensley herself started levitating and circling Pine-Tree.

The girl looked in awe at everything circling around in the air. It was like asteroids orbiting a star. An interesting and quite extraordinary sight to behold. After a few more seconds everything slowly went back to the ground and the boy's eyes turned back to normal.

"That was incredible!" Ensley exclaimed. "Bill taught you how to do that?"

Pine-Tree blushed. "Y-Yeah he did. Did you uh... did you like it?"

"Of course I did! It looked amazing! I only wish I could do something that..."

"W-Well maybe I can teach you!"

Ensley thought for a moment, it would be nice to learn some magic especially from Pine-Tree though... she can't. "It would be great, but I shouldn't. It's yours and Bill's thing. I really shouldn't intrude on that.."

Pine-Tree looked at her remorsefully. "Are you sure? It would be fun!"

"I'm sure, Pine-Tree. Maybe in a few years if I'm still here." The fairy laughed.

Pine-Tree looked down for a second before perking back up. "On another note, Bill said I'll get a chance to have my revenge on Mabel and her family soon!" He said, faking happiness.

Ensley smiled. "That's great! Can't wait to see that!"

"FAIRY, HERE NOW!" The echoey voice of Bill rang through their ears making both Pine-Tree and Ensley jump. It sounded a little far away so she had to find which room he was calling her from. Likely the throne room.

"D-Duty calls! Heh... I'll see you later!" She said, waving to the boy before flying off leaving Pine-Tree alone.

The second she left, Pine-Tree's faked happiness was quick to leave as well. Did he really want revenge?

He continued walking through the halls. He wished Ensley had accepted his offer... He thought they both would have enjoyed spending more time together.

Though, she must want him and Bill to spend more time around each other instead.

But he'd rather spend more time with Ensley. He spends a lot of his time with Bill. Spending a day or two with Ensley once in a while would be a nice break...

Still, at least Bill is teaching him new things, half of them he won't really need to get the revenge Bill is helping him with but they're still very helpful things to know. Bill normally taught him things one at a time when he was younger but now he's learning much more and he's actually enjoying it.

Little did he know something unexpected was going to happen very soon.

The fairy couldn't believe what she was hearing as tears of sadness and fear formed in her eyes... she couldn't do something like this. Please no!

"W-With all due r-respect, s-sir, I think t-this might n-not be a good idea..." Ensley said quietly, hoping Bill wouldn't hear her but he did.

"I DON'T CARE IF IT'S A GOOD IDEA OR NOT!" Bill yelled, earning a whimper from the terrified little fairy in front of him.

"Do you know why I don't care?" He asked her, much calmer than he just was. She stayed quiet, not fully knowing the answer.

"Because if I don't get this equation, instead of being trapped in The Nightmare Realm, we'll be trapped in THIS STUPID HICK TOWN!" He yelled again, his voice turning demonic at the end.

"This might be one of my last chances for a while to get it." Bill said, looking out his window with his hands behind his back. "Now tell me, fairy... Do you have an idea?"

She stayed quiet...

"ANSWER!"

Ensley jumped and shook her head. "N-No sir... I d-don't..."

"Then you shouldn't be questioning me. You know your place, now I suggest you stay in it."

The girl put her head down and slowly nodded. She couldn't fight him. He was too powerful and she was too weak. He could do anything he wanted, even kill her and she couldn't do anything to stop him.

"W-When is this g-going to happen, my l-lord?" She asked.

Bill laughed maniacally, this made Ensley all the more frightful. Should she not have asked that? Should she have kept her mouth shut? She shouldn't have spoken at all. After her outburst yesterday... angering this Dream Demon is the very last thing she needs...

Bill slowly stopped laughing, wiping a tear from his eye.

"Very soon."
