There was a hatchet found on the floor of the security room. It looked locked so there was no reason to investigate.
Survivors:
Inuyasha found a book listing all the survivors that had survived a previous killing game. It's unknown if they're still alive.
Project Universe:
Something most likely the mastermind wrote. It says everything about their plan to create another killing game in a odd way.
