Chapter 1: First Signs of Despair (Class Trial Part 2)

"Akane..."

"Huh? What is it now?" She crossed her arms to me.

"Back at the cafeteria, Inuyasha and Bakugo were fighting, right?"

"Oh yeah. I rocked that dogs shit!" Bakugo started laughing as I heard Inuyasha growl.

"I also remember that. Bakugo and Inuyasha were fighting. Ryuko, Akane and I were watching." Ren input this as I nodded in agreement.

"Ren left with Bakugo to the nurse, Ryuko left claiming she had to talk with Usagi, Inuyasha also left which left Akane and I."

"So what? You think it's a little date?" When Akane said that, I was a little embarrassed. Why are their main priorities dates?

"I understand now." The second time Kanao has talked. Glad she's making some progress.

"Akane, I left my sword in the cafeteria. You were the last one in there and I never saw you leave."

"Ah! So it's-"

"Sorry, I have to object." Violet cut of Leaf before she could finish.

"What's wrong Violet?"

"The killer is still you. It's no doubt. You used your sword to kill Ray."

"What reason would I kill Ray for? And if I did, why would I leave something that important?""

"It's Trunks. Let us vote now and end this."

Rebuttal Showdown

"It's obviously Trunks. His sword was left at the scene. It was covered in blood so it was the murder weapon. And Trunks used it to kill Ray." Violet meant business right now and I had to get everyone back on my side.

"It can't be me. It has to be Akane. She was last in the cafeteria with my sword and I never saw her leave."

"That has to be a lie. You constantly lie as if it'll help you. Since you're the killer, you made Ray choke on the apple." I got her right there!

"Wait, that's wrong." I cut her off as she looked at me like I was insane.

BREAK!

"We've already went over that Ray didn't choke on the apple. His hands are proof of that."

"Huh?"

"His hands were around his neck. If you were choking, wouldn't you just take out the apple considering it was whole?"

Violet stared at me and I could notice she was getting angry. Even I was getting confused. Either it's Akane or Violet. But it didn't make sense.

"God dammit! Let's just vote bad haircut already! It's him!" Bakugo yelled and at this point, I felt like 'bad haircut' was my nickname.

"Come on! Let's vote already!" I was worried when Kou agreed and I knew others would agree sooner or later.

"It's not Trunks." Kanao spoke up and everyone looked to her.

"How do you know that?" Ryuko opposed Kanao and I was glad she was talking more.

"Ren's alibi. He said that Violet kept leaving. You also said that you left your sword in the cafeteria, which Akane was last in. It can't be Trunks." Kanao backed me up and I smiled. Good that she decided to talk now.

"I also agree with Kanao." Ren nodded to everything that she said.

"Does bad haircut even have an alibi?" Akane was set off and anything more and she would kill everyone.
