A lot of this stuff is made up because I've never been to Albuquerque and this is just a fanfic/oneshot book

It was around 8 a.m. when Kurapika and Leorio reached Albuquerque. They were both tired, having to wake up early, and relieved to find a cab waiting for them. They knew it was for them because of the Hunter's Association symbol painted on the side. As well as the driver running up to them and asking their names.

"Are you Leorio and Kurapika," the driver had asked. Kurapike nodded. "Great," the driver said. "I'm Mack, I'll be taking you to your hotel." Kurapika and Leorio exchanged glances. "We didn't check into a hotel," Kurapika said. Mack nodded. "You didn't," he said. "But you have one. Thank the Hunter's Association for that." He climbed into the driver's seat of the car. Kurapika and Leorio got in the back.

The drive to the hotel was about twenty minutes long. Their driver was very chatty. He told them how he had passed the Hunter's Exam two years ago. He was very happy to help them, even if he was just driving. He didn't know what they were there for, all he knew was that the bouncer was going to be on their side. That's all about the mission he knew. After that, he just talked. Leorio and Kurapika didn't know what about. They tuned him out as they cuddled in the backseat.

Suddenly, the car came to a stop. "We're here," Mack said. "I hope you two have a good time!" Kurapika climbed out of the car while Leorio paid. "Wow," he said. "This is a nice hotel." Leorio looked up. "Oh," he said. "It is. Take your bag. I'm no carrying it in." Kurapika grabbed the handle on his suitcase and dragged it inside.

"Do you think we're checked in under our real names," he asked. "Or should we use our fake names?" "I think I should try with our fake names," Leorio responded. "If that doesn't work, you try with our real names." Kurapika nodded and Leorio walked forward to the front desk. He said a few words to the receptionist who nodded and handed him a key. Kurapika smiled and walked to him. "Fake names," he asked. Leorio nodded. "Yep," he replied. "Room five-o-seven. Fifth floor."

The two men climbed onto the elevator. Once in, Kurapika let go of his suitcase. He yawned, stretching his arms. "As soon as we get there," he said. "I'm taking a nice warm shower then I'm taking a nap. Wake me up at eight."

Leorio did end up waking Kurapika up at eight. Leorio showered and Kurapika began to get dressed. As suspected as Mrs. Smith, he had to wear a dress. Not that Kurapika minded it, he liked dresses. He just didn't wear them often. His costume also came with heels and earrings. As well as instructions on how to properly do his hair and makeup. Leorio's costume consisted of a suit, dress shoes, and a single diamond earring.

Kurapika ran his hands down the front of his body while looking in the mirror. It was a full-body mirror next to the hotel beds. "I like this dress," he said. "I do hate having to wear these fake boobs though."

Leorio chuckled as he looked in the mirror, fixing his tie. "Should I smooth back my hair," he asked. "Would it make me look more formal?" Kurapika twisted a loose strand of hair around his finger. "Do what you need," he said. "I had instructions on my hair." "Did you?" "I did. And it was pretty easy, I think it looks nice. See?"

Leorio turned to look at his husband. "Wow," he said. "You look amazing." Kurapika's dress was silver and sleeveless. It only stayed on by a strap around his neck. A slit was cut in the side, ending just underneath his waistline. The backside of the dress was open, revealing his back. The material of his dress clung to him, highlighting his curves. His hair was pulled up in a braided bun as it had grown out over the months. A few strands fell in front of his face and were in loose curls. He had on fake lashes and bright red lipstick.

Kurapika smiled. "You don't look so bad yourself," he said. "I like this dress and the earrings." Leorio hadn't noticed the earrings. They were very similar to his red ones but they were actual diamonds. Kurapika delicately touched them. "I wish I could keep them," he said.
