Prompt: Hospital visits (but make one of them a doctor)

Leorio sat in his office during his lunch break. He did it every break. Whether he had food or not. But he barely ate during the day so instead, he lounged in here. He had a tennis ball and occupied himself by throwing it in the air and catching it. He only dropped once or twice. Honestly, it was one of the things he enjoyed most at the hospital. Having his own time to think before a patient started having a heart attack or something. But today he had no case. Not one had popped up. He was free.

Leorio dropped the ball once again and sighed. Thinking to yourself is fun but not when you're doing it all day. On top of that, his boyfriend hadn't answered any of his texts. Nor had he read them. Leorio wondered what he did to make him do this. Sure he had done it a few times before (two to be exact), but that was before they got together. and he did ti to the rest of his friends. Leorio wasn't special. Well, he was but not like that.

Leorio sat up as one of his co-workers opened the door. "Hey Paladiknight," he said. "Someone is asking for you in the clinic." He tossed his thumb over his shoulder.

Leorio stood up and sighed. "Thank you," he said. "What are you and the rest of the team doing?"

His co-worker shrugged. "Just playing cards in the cafeteria." Leorio smiled and walked past him.

"Paladiknight," a lady said sitting at her desk. She handed Leorio a clipboard. "Room two-o-seven."

Leorio took the clipboard, not bothering to look at it, and smiled. "Thank you, Darla," he said and began to walk to his room. Who could be asking for him? It couldn't have been any of his friends unless it was Zepile. But he hadn't had any contact with him in months. Leorio opened the door to the clinic and felt two arms wrap around him.

"Kurapika," Leorio sighed and hugged his boyfriend back. "Why are you here? And why haven't you answered my text?"

Kurapika jumped up on the table used for examinations. "I wanted to surprise you," he said. "So I didn't answer you."

Leorio sighed again. "Did you come here for a good reason," he asked.

Kurapika shrugged. "What is a good reason?"

Leorio looked up after placing the clipboard on the sink. "Not coming here just to see me," he replied and walked up next to Kurapika. "How'd you even get in the clinic?"

Kurapika smiled. "I lied," he said. "Said something was wrong with my wrist. Shut it in a car door."

Leorio looked at Kurapika's wrist, which was a bit red but not swollen. "Is that a complete lie," he asked, picking up the boy's hand.

Kurapika bit his lip. "Well," he said, stretching the word. "I twisted it. But It'll be fine."

Leorio kissed Kurapika's hand making him giggle. "I'm glad you came but you could've just came down to my office," he said. "And you still haven't answered my question about why you're here."

Kurapika smirked and leaned closer to Leorio. "I wanted to see you in uniform," he said trailing his fingers down his chest.

Leorio moved back. "Kurapika," he said. "Not now."

Kurapika frowned. "Why not," he asked.

Leorio glared at him. "I'm at work," he said. "You know this."

Kurapika crossed his arm in a pout. "So," he asked. "We're in the clinic. No one's here."

Leorio raised a brow. "But there are people next to this room," he said. "Besides I still have work."

Kurapika sighed. "With what," he asked. "I talked to your team member. She said there was nothing you had to do."

Leorio looked Kurapika in the eye. "I said not now," he told him. "Tonight."

Kurapika stood and walked to the door. "If not now," he said. "Not tonight either. I'm leaving."

Leorio didn't look at him. "That's fine," he said. "Goodbye." Kurapika turned to him. "Nothing," he repeated. "And I promise that."

"Goodbye Kurapika."

"Goodbye Leorio."

When Kurapika left Leorio chuckled. He could be such a brat sometimes. Especially when he wanted something and he couldn't get it.
