DOCTOR
A couple came rushing towards us when they saw Luna. The man looks exactly like her, I have no doubt that this is her parents nga.
"Where have you been, anak ha?! Kanina ka pa namin hinahanap ng daddy mo. Iniwan mo pa ang telepono mo sa kwarto." A woman with I think same age as I am hugged Luna.
"Don't worry, Mom and Dad. I just forgot po kung saan yung villa natin kanina while I was strolling around the beach. Buti nalang po Ms. Dennise showed up to help me."
I waved at them. Yung tatay niya ngumiti lang sa akin sabay iling kay Luna. Todo ingat sila kasi nga unica hija nila yung bata kaya understandable kung bakit ganoon nalang sila mag-worry. Family of good genes, wow!
"Oh, hi!" Her mom turned, "Thank you so much for helping my girl. Mind if you join us for late lunch? Don't worry, sagot ko! Pambawi lang sana."
Luna grinned at her mom, "Mommy siya po ang may-ari ng resort." I noticed her father secretly laughed at what his daughter has said. May pagka-makulit din pala ang Daddy.
"Oh my god! I'm sorry! By the way, I'm Corrine. I'm her mom. Is there anything we could do para naman makabawi kami?"
I smiled, "There's no need for that. Basta i-enjoy niyo lang yung vacation ninyo dito as family, bawing bawi na."
Luna's father took a step forward, placing his arm around the bare shoulders of his...wife? Or ex-wife? I don't know what term should I use, but wife sounds better right?
"Hi, I'm Theodore. Luna's dad. I'm glad you were the one who helped my daughter. Thank you again!" He removed his glasses and glanced at Corrine.
"Uhm kung gusto niyo mamayang gabi may bonfire sa beach. You can come if wala kayong plans mamaya." I told them smiling. Sabi ko kasi kay Joaqs, mag set-up ng bonfire kapag lumubog na ang araw.
Luna's eyes twinkled and hug her parents tight "Let's come, Dad? Mom? Please?" After awhile, they agreed and I assure them kung anong oras.

"Mahal, saan ka naman ba napadpad? Grabeng 'pagka-miss naman 'yan, nilibot buong beach!" Joaquin greeted me with that words upon entering our room. He's done organizing our stuffs.
"Sa Villa 5. I helped Luna." I answered. His brows met in confusion then he sits beside me. "Sino si Luna?" He asked. I sighed and leaned my head on his shoulders.
"Yung anak nung mga nagbabakasyon dito. Naligaw, tinulungan ko lang mahanap yung villa niya." I felt Joaquin nods. "Mahal, that kid...ang bait niya ha. Given na yung maganda sa kaniya. Very magalang tsaka—smart. Sana ganun lumaki yung anak natin 'noh?"
"Bakit naman?"
"I'm worried. Ikaw kasi ang ama e. Puro kalokohan ka pa naman, nakakakaba." I joked. He pinch my cheek, like what he always do every time napipikon siya.
Joaquin let out a chuckle, "Parang wala kang tiwala sa parenting skills ko a? Gusto mo kapag nag-edad ng ten years old ang anak natin, ipasok na natin sa kumbento? Tutal gusto mo naman na very magalang tapos..."
Because of that, I slapped Joaquin's chest. Tingnan mo? Nakaka ubos ng pasensiya ang mga suggestion.
"Grabe ka naman! Huwag naman madre!" I blurted out, "I mean, wala namang masama pero really Joaquin?!" He pulled me closer to his side, laughing. Hindi kumpleto ang araw niya kapag wala siyang naiinis.
