- Her POV -

Ten years ago. . .

Excited akong pumasok sa opisina ng daddy ko kahit alam kong bawal. Naroon siya't nakaupo sa kanyang upuan kaharap ang maraming mga papel at ang kanyang laptop.

Napabungisngis pa ako sa aking kakulitan. Dahan-dahan akong lumapit sa kanya at saka siya ginulat.

"Daddy!" Nagitla naman siya sa ginawa ko.

"My princess! You don't need to shout!" Sabi nito at naiiling akong hinila palapit sa kanya. "So, how's my princess day?"

"Ahmm, its kinda boring but this assignment lighten me up," sagot ko at agad na ibinigay sa kanya ang notebook kung saan nakasulat ang assignment namin.

"Okay, I'll read this," sabi niya. Binitawan niya ako at sinimulamg intindihin ang sulat ko. I sometimes see him frowning then would shakes his head. And I think it's because of my penmanship.

I walk around his office. Everything seems so clean even though no one maid's cleaning here. It's my dad's rules. In this room, my mom and I were the only ones who could get in. But when he has something to deal with someone, he leads them to his second office.

Ang kwarto ay puno ng mga libro. Mapabago man o luma. Sinimulan kong tingnan isa isa ang mga bagong libro. I suddenly pouted. I can't read the other words because it's too difficult to read but I know I can read it someday. I turn my gaze on the old books. It seems so very old that it has this brown cover book. All of them were arranged by height. I read one of them.

"His. . .tory of. . . Ugh, I can't read. What's this?" I asked myself if it could answer me. I get the book and open it. But... "It is empty? What kind of book is this?" I asked myself again. Baka empty notebook para sa diary? I love diary!

And something caught my attention. A book also has this brown cover. It has a title or an acronym 'L.A' written in a cursive way. Over the title, there is a sun, star and moon. I touch it and I gasp in shock when the drawings suddenly light up! It has a golden colour. Ang astig naman ng librong ito at may pa-lights pa! I was about to open the book when my father interrupted me.

"My princess, come here," he said smiling while writing something on my notebook.

"Bakit po?" Tanong ko. Ngumiti siya sa akin at kinarga ako. "Okay, mag fa-family bonding tayo sa Sunday para may assignment ka. Sana free ng araw na 'yon ang mommy mo. We'll take a picture and place it in an album and you'll pass it to your teacher," sabi niya na nagpalawak ng aking ngiti.

"Yehey! Thank you daddy! I love you!" I said before kissing his cheek.

"I love you too, my daughter," sabi niya.

NAKANGITI akong lumabas ng school. Ako ang kauna-unahang lalabas ngayong araw. Because, I finished my exercises and everything already! In English, my teacher gave us a spelling quiz, and I got a perfect score! In Math, I was the one who perfectly answered the given problem in just a minute! In History, I perfectly and orderly say the regions one to five without any copies! Well, I did study at home for that things.

"Napaaga po yata ang labas nyo, young lady?" Its Dwain, my butler. He's closed to me.

"Because I finished my work already! And hey! How many times do I have to tell you to stop saying 'po' to me." May pagmamalaki kong sagot habang nakanguso.

"You're just eight yet you think like teen. And, I need to say that because you're my boss' daughter. You need to be respected," he said and patted my head.

I just heave a sigh and shake my head. "No! Ayoko. Di pa ako matanda. Stop it." Natawa naman siya at napailing. Agad niya akong dinala sa kotse. Napag-isipan ko na dahil maaga pa naman ay gusto kong maglaro.

"Can you bring me to a park? I wanna play there," sabi ko. Tiningnan niya ako at tumango.

"Okay, maaga pa naman," sagot niya at ibinalik ang paningin sa daan.

Hindi naman nagtagal at nakarating kami sa park kung saan madalas kami ni mommy at daddy noon. Ngayon kasi ay hindi na dahil si mommy ay busy sa hospital at si daddy naman ay sa opisina. But they have time for me naman.

Agad akong nagtatatakbo sa Bermudagrass ng park. Si Dwain naman ay nakabantay sa akin mula sa malayo. Naglibot-libot ako. Maraming magkakasama ngayon. Mga magkakaibigan. Pamilya. May mga magkahawak kamay. At may mga magkaakbay. Teka. . .

"Daddy?" Tanong ko. Nakatalikod ang isang lalaking naka suit sa akin at isang babaeng blonde ang buhok. Nakasandal ang babae kay papa at si papa naman ay nakayakap sa babae.

Si mommy kaya 'yon? May alon sa dulo ang buhok ni mommy at kulay itim. Siguro nagpabago siya ng hairstyle?

I was about to run on them ng marinig ko ang boses ng babae.

"Stop it!" Sabi nito sabay tawa. H-hindi, hindi siya si mommy! Tumakbo ako ng kaunti. Pumunta sa playground sa harap nila. Mabuti na lang at maraming bata kaya 'di nila ako mapapansin dito.

At sa paglingon ko ay nakita ko ang ginawa ni daddy. H-he kissed the woman.

"W-why daddy?" I asked as if he could hear me. I'm not stupid to not understand what he was doing!

I love my father. So very much.

But, after seeing this. . .

I hate him now. For cheating on my mom.

"I hate you. . . You're a cheater!" I shouted between my sobs. Lumingon sila sa pinanggalingan ko ngunit mabuti na lang at agad akong nahila ng pares ng kamay ni Dwain.

My father. I hate him very much. He doesn't deserve my mom! Because he's a cheater!
