"This is a list of the guys Diego's contacts caught entering the city last night." Grayson slides the piece of paper between them. "They'll attack. If anyone is gonna make a move against us next, it's these guys. Slater is the worst of them."
"I remember him," Kaden murmurs.
"Clearly those who are left standing are desperate. Explains why they called in these guys."
"So we lure them away from the house." His hands find his hips. "Neutralise the threat before there's any casualties."
"Could do it tomorrow." Grayson folds his arms. "Sooner the better, especially while we've got the element of surprise. They'll need time to find a suitable base hidden away from the cops, they won't expect us to attack first."
"Alright." He nods and rests his palms against the desk. "We need a plan."
Sierra turns away from the door left ajar, face hardened as the overheard information embeds into her mind.

Returning to the office once the brothers are preoccupied with other things, Sierra keeps her attention on the doors while taking a picture of the list left beside the laptop.
Sneaking back to the bedroom without being seen, she closes the door and takes a seat on her side of the bed. Scanning the names and the numbers belonging to their temporary phones, she adds one into her device and types a new message.
Finger hovering above the blue circle with the arrow pointing upwards, she gazes longingly at Hope in her rocker. This is for her. To reduce the vermin crawling the earth so she has a safe future in store for her.
She sends the text before the sane voice in her head can persuade her not to. It's too late now. The message has been delivered.

Having watched the black car pull out of the driveway, Sierra bolts away from the window to rush around the house. Grabbing the needed supplies and setting things up.
Eventually reaching the front door to unlock it, her gaze drifts in the direction of the stairs that lead to her sleeping daughter. This is for her.
Just under thirty minutes later, an unfamiliar vehicle turns into the driveway. Five men climb out and approach the doorstep. Exchanging silent words with a simple nod of their heads, Cole opts to stand at the front, lightly pushing the door open.
Peering inside to scope the place, he cautiously enters with the group following. Everyone retrieves their guns once inside. Ace and Kai travel in the direction of the kitchen, a hand pressing against the former's chest upon noticing the obvious length of string by their feet. Nodding, they avoid tripping it.
Cole lifts a boot to ascend the staircase, unbeknownst to the thin wire hidden beneath the second step. Upon triggering the wire a knife is launched from the bookshelves, penetrating his skull in an instant.
The remaining four perk up and raise their weapons, eyes searching the downstairs area as they slowly turn around.
An arrow jabs through Ace's throat from above. Sierra silently jogs across the balcony and fires another arrow which hits Knox in the back of the leg. The crossbow is swiftly replaced for a gun once she's hidden out of sight.
