Relaxed in his chair with the radio playing softly in the background, Avery cocks a brow. "I knew he was familiar!" His sudden raised voice carries through the house.
"Who?" Sarinah dries her hands when he strolls into the kitchen, phone in hand which he turns for her to scrutinise. "Kaden?" She frowns at the article on screen. "Why's he in the news?"
"I actually have no idea, I just saw his face and clicked on it. It's an old one." He scrolls to the top and they scan the headline, worried eyes locking in a stare.
"Sierra," she gasps.

Grayson frowns when he notices Kaden carrying Sierra down the steps. "What are we doing?"
"He's treating me like royalty," she announces with a merry smile.
"I'm showing her how I treat women versus how you treat them."
"And how do I apparently treat them?"
A squeal escapes her when his arms disappear and she plummets onto the sofa with a bounce. Cheeks fill with air to puff the strands of hair from her face.
"That just isn't true, the fuck?" Kaden chuckles. "And we both know how you used to treat them, you're not that different."
"Don't dig up the past." He folds his arms with a small groan.
"I hope you don't treat women like that." Sierra flicks her head back to move her hair from her face, reaching up on her tiptoes to wrap her arms around Kaden's neck from behind.
"Not that it matters because I don't have a woman nor do I want one, but no, I can't say that impersonation was accurate."
"Well you don't have a very good track record with me."
"That's different."
"I don't see how it is."
The doorbell ringing followed by a fist banging repeatedly against it has Kaden stepping away to answer it. An arm casually resting against it as he scans the couple on his doorstep.
"You." Sarinah's heart stops. Meanwhile Avery is filled with rage. Both of them barge into the house with his blue-grey eyes following. "Sierra? Sierra!"
"Mom? Dad?" She lowers her hand from Grayson's face and he lets go of her wrist.
He shakes his head to ruffle the chocolatey caramel locks, movements freezing when her parents stare at him with wide eyes.
"What's going on? Why are you here?" She wearily glances between the brothers. "You didn't tell me you were visiting."
Hope silently stops on the platform in the middle of the staircase, holding onto the banister and crouching to watch. She gasps and gives her stuffed elephant a wide eyed look.
"We came to take you home," her mother informs. "Pack your things. Get Hope, come on. It's not safe here. Where's Hope? Sierra come on, move!"
