Jennifer and Colin made their way to the hotel to find that their rooms to be across the hall from one another. Placing their luggage outside the door, Colin opened his room without a hitch...whereas Jen...didn't have as much luck. Tugging and pulling at the door, sliding the key in and out trying to get it to open, she felt her cheeks grow red with frustration and embarrassment.

"Here..." he said as he took the card from her hand and slid it through the door as he found it to be jammed. Wanting to not look helpless, she tried to push the door at the same time he did, causing them both to crash on the ground- Colin on top of her. Smiling as if he were a kid who just ate his first piece of chocolate, he looked in her eyes and brushed his finger on her lips-brushing them slightly. She closed her eyes as she felt his soft skin touch hers. Sending chills down her body, she found herself unable to move. Just as he motioned down to kiss her, she felt his cold ring on his left hand as it touched her cheek.

Placing her hands on his chest, she found it to be solid under her hands and paused for a moment before pushing her from him. Brushing off her skirt, she carried her luggage into the room and placed it upon the end of the bed.

By this time, Colin was on his feet once more and walked over toward her.

"Do you need help?" He asked as he sat on the other end of her bed. "I am fairly well known for being organized..." He said flashing her a wicked smile, before standing back up behind her. As she turned, she crashed against him which caused her to gasp.

"If I didn't know any better, I would say you were avoiding me..."

Not responding, she slid his luggage out the door with her foot and looked back toward him and motioned for his leave.

"And are quite rude for that matter..."

Walking toward the door, he turned back toward her and pursed his lips for just a moment.

"He's gonna hurt you...if he hasn't already. You need someone who will show you what a gentleman is. Opens the car door, pays the bill, stays loyal-a gentleman. I hope I have not made you upset at me for any reason...Have a nice day...I'll talk to you later..."

As she turned to respond, she found him to be gone and the door across the hall to close. Making her way toward the door, she placed her head against it so her forehead rested on the wood. On the other side of the door, Colin did the same. Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes.

        "If only you knew..."
