Chapter Eight- Between Morals and Desire

        As the day finally ended with only a few bumps along the way, Jennifer made it toward her room when she saw Colin sitting on the window between their two rooms. With an alcoholic beverage in his hand, he took sips every few seconds before turning toward her.

        "If it isn't Jennifer...The same girl-woman that gives the impressions she wants me, but doesn't follow through...fantastic."

        "Colin, you're drunk...go in your room before the press see you like this..."

        "I don't care...you see...I am usually a strong person...but you have this effect on me that I can't shake..."

        "It's just the alcohol Colin, go to sleep."

        "I don't want to just sleep with you."

        "What?"

        "I want more than that..." He said before raising from the windowsill and entering his room.

        Sitting upon her bed, she looked at herself in the mirror and noticed her cheeks to be flushed. Removing her clothes from her body, she slid into some loose pajamas and made her way toward the television. With her finger pressed against the button, but not pushing she thought to herself.

        "It's like this, isn't it?" She asked herself- referring to the button the the television. "If I were to push this button, it would begin. No telling what will come one frame or scene from the next. But never hitting it...will leave me restless and no matter what gets me distracted, I will always wonder "what if"."

        Moving herself away from the television, she then made her way into bed, before there was a pounding upon her door. Opening it, she found it to be Colin. Hair damp, eyes narrow, and breath quick. He moved toward her, causing her to walk backward and hitting her back against the wall. Shutting the door with his hand-but not taking his eyes from her, he moved toward her and pinned her against the wall.

        "I am tired of sacrificing. I want you." He said as he pressed his lips against hers. The minute they touched, she felt a spark between them. Almost as if they had waited their entire lives for this moment. Placing her hand on his chest-at first to push him away, she pulled on his shirt and pulled him into her. Not hesitating for a second, he moved his hands down her neck and back then on her waist, pushing himself into her-all while not breaking the kiss.

        Pulling on her bottom lip with his teeth, he sucked on her lip which caused her to release a small moan. Basking in the moment, Colin pulled her toward him and toward her bed, picking her up for a moment before throwing her onto it. She went to move up, but he ordered her to stay down. Starting at her feet, he kissed her skin until he made it to her ankles in which he placed himself onto the bed. Sitting beside her, he turned her toward him so they were laying sideways on the bed instead of straight. Kissing up her legs, he watched as she slid beneath him, slightly gripping the sheets then releasing them as her head fell over the bed, her long hair nearly touching the ground. Looking down at him, she saw how he was full of lust but enjoyed the moment with him. Slowly, he moved up her legs as he let his lip glide upon her skin. She closed her eyes as he made his way to her thighs.

        Sucking on her skin, she bit her lip to stay quiet.

        "Nobody can hear you...I want to..."

        He said as he moved closer and closer to her center. Just before he made it, she looked toward the television and again saw the nobs. Realizing the situation she was in, she pushed him off of her with her foot as he fell to the ground.

        Hitting his head against the wall, he gave her a confused look.

        "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have let you in....please, just...just go...This was a mistake."

        It was as if the words physically hurt him. Without saying a word, he rose and left her room, closing her door slowly but quietly. Laying back in her bed, she threw the television on with the remote then eventually fell asleep, with the feeling of his touch still lingering on her skin.
