Chapter Sixty Four- Showdown

        "Why are you doing this?" She asked as he tied her hands to a hanging metal hook dangling from the ceiling.

        "You think I'd let myself get caught? I did actually believe you wanted me...until you were so compliant to where ever I wanted to meet...I knew something was up. I showed up and cop cars were surrounding the place. You must think I'm an idiot..." He said before punching her, causing her head to crash against her right shoulder. She blinked hard before turning to him.

        "Is this what you want? Do you want me like this? Vulnerable? Exposed? Like an undeveloped piece of photography in a developing red room?"

        "I wanted you to be mine! I told you and I gave you chances...Now I'm through asking..." He said as he removed his belt and placed it on the ground, it sliding toward the door-hitting against he metal frame.

        Only a small set of lights shined upon Jennifer and Thomas. With one of her eyes swelling from his forceful punch, the other one was terribly focused on her surroundings. She soon noticed she was on a set. One deserted, for some time, but a set nonetheless. Every set was built for looks, nothing works as far as doors, they do not lead outside and she knew this. But she also knew they held emergency exits and fire exits, both in which had alerted police when used. Keeping this in the back of her mind, she attempted to get his mind elsewhere and his demeanour calm.

        "Why can't we just talk?"

        "That's gets people nowhere! They still lie and cheat and beg and manipulate as you have done to me. I loved you! I gave everything to you and how do you repay me? By staying with him...The man who hurt you to begin with! I won't have it...You are mine now. My personal voodoo doll. My Goldie doll..."

        "I know it was Helen who hired you. Colin's wife." He stopped and dropped his tools he was planning on using on her. "I know you loved her, you could actually be with her and she promised you things but broke them..."

        "You know nothing about real love."

        "I know real love shouldn't leave scars or bruises and should not cause blood or carnage...or anger even..."

        He froze, listening to her words as if they struck a chord.

        "If you let me leave right now, I promise nothing will happen to you..."

        "What could you do to me anyway? You are tied up, for my own....personal use..." He said as he slid his finger down her body. Taking a knife from the side table, he grabbed her shirt and cut it until it fell to the ground.

        She watched as he looked upon her body as if it were a long lost treasure to him. Her expression showed complete disgust.

        "You think he loves you don't you?" He said out of nowhere as tears began escaping her eyes.

        She didn't answer.
