Unpacking the boxes to their rightful places, Jennifer felt her phone buzz in her pocket. She had just sent the package to the abandoned location but felt incredibly uneasy about it. It had been on her mind for the remainder of the day. She took a step back and looked at the apartment then noticed something in the background. There was a light on across the street with a tripod in the window. A tripod for a video camera that was pointed directly at their apartment. She froze but felt a small sense of accomplishment in her bones. Picking up the phone to call the police, an email popped up on her screen. She froze with fear.

You still have that Autographed book? 'To Jen, stay true to your dreams and they shall cast you great success....' Still in good condition too...Just a little dust.

There is no way he could know that unless he had seen it. And the only way he could see it would be if he was in the apartment. She picked her phone up again to call the police, only this time it froze. Then she received a message once more.

Calling the police...not clever. I know them-better than you...

Jennifer felt a great amount of defeat befall her. She crumbled where she stood. Then Colin made his way into the room. Seeing the paleness of her complexion and the look in her eyes, he could tell something had been bothering him

"Love, what is it?" He asked as he placed the box onto the floor and made his way over to her.

"Nothing..." She squealed, not being able to make a stable tone.

"I have known you long enough to know when you are like this...something is wrong..."

"Just worried..." She said, clutching the phone tight in her hand.

"Jennifer..." He said walking toward her until she began walking toward the window.

"Please don't....I'm really tired I just want to go to bed..."

"To bed? Or to sleep?" He said giving her his sensual glance.

"To sleep." She said harshly before turning away from him and going toward the room.

"Did I do something?" He asked as he casted the covers slightly lower on the bed so he could slide it easier.

"No." She said-with little emotion behind the words she spoke.

         Her phone buzzed once more.

Thanks for the clothing. Will take GOOOOOD care of them.

The message shook her to her inner core. She found every single aspect of the situation sickening, but knew there was no other option. Responding to the message, her fingers began trembling. Colin saw her on her phone and had the feeling he knew what was truly wrong...

"Is there someone else?" He asked, with nothing but pain behind his words.

She paused and this told him his answer. Moving himself from the bed, he exited the bedroom slamming the door. Throwing the phone on the nightstand, she chased after him.

"You have no right to be angry with me!"

"Oh really? You have led me to believe you lov-cared about me and there's someone else? Just please tell me it isn't Sebastian."

        "No...It's not what you think-"

        "It never is." He murmured.

"Listen! You have....'other obligations' and you know it...This was never official...never a promise..."

"You said you wanted it to be real..." He stated, not making eye contact with her.

"Colin...Please..." She said reaching out for him.

        He pushed her off.

"Goodbye..." He said as he made his way toward the door.

        "That's it? You're done?"

"What's left to fight for? I clearly bored you so you looked elsewhere..."

        "It's not like that!"

        "Then tell me!"

        "I can't!"

"Then there is something scandalous you don't want me to know...I do not want to play games anymore....Just be honest with me."

"It's not romantic. I assure you. At least...not on my side...."

Even though he wanted to believe her, he felt unsure about her words. But in her eyes he saw it. She spoke truth but illuminated with secrecy.

"Can you tell me his name?"

        She shook her head.

"If you can't tell me...then show me..." He said holding his hand out-waiting for the phone.

        "I left it upstairs."

        "I'll wait." He said patiently.

She raced up the stairs and found various messages on her phone. But none such as the last one caused her great grief and fear.

        No response? Not smart.

Do I need to press send?

How would his wife feel about this?

What are you talking to him about?

Are you talking about me? How flattering...if you do...my finger is twitching...so tempted to send them.

How will they look at you when they know how you REALLY are?

You have seen that I have a gun...don't make me use it on him...
