They stood silent in each other's presence for some time before Colin entered her hotel room. Still looking dashing in his dark tux and Jennifer in her long white dress, they could not take their eyes from one another. In their eyes, they both desperately wanted to take each other in their arms and never let go, yet either of them moved. It was as if their feet were permanently stuck in cement. Eventually, Colin made his way and sat on the chair near the desk. Sitting, he placed his index finger and thumb on his chin before standing up again. He was restless.

"Somebody should say something..." Jennifer said as she sat on the bed.

He sat next to her and placed his hands on either side of him. As his body was beside hers, her breath grew quick. Her heart began to race and she stood on the opposite side of the room.

"I am not sure on what to say..." He added truthfully, not connecting any form of contact with her.

        "Are you going to stay?"

"I suppose...I just don't want you to hate me or feel awkward around me...especially after how close we have gotten lately..."

        "And your wife?"

"Listen Jennifer...I meant what I said about her...I am in a loveless marriage with a woman who constantly wants more. One who wants the finer things in life when I am one who wants the most simple. Taking this job, I never intended for anything to happen...but there's this..."

He then moved his eyes toward Jennifer's- locking her gaze with his.

        "What? What is 'this'?"

        "I'm not sure...a friendship maybe?"

As he said those words, her heart felt as if it had been stabbed with knives and swords. Refusing to show him the pain he caused her, she smirked.

"Friends." She said extending her hand quickly-similar to the first time they met.

Smirking and letting out a giggle as he recounted this, their hands touched. They both felt the electric connection between them as their hands made contact. Their eyes locked once more. Unable to look away, Jennifer noticed how blue his eyes were and found herself getting lost in them. Colin did the same to her green eyes. Moving his other hand, he placed it upon her cheek and began to move to her lips, when there was a noise outside of her room. Frantic on the identity of the person, Colin looked for a place to hide.

Realizing the most obvious place would be the bathroom, he went for under the bed and found he just fit.

"Good thing I'm not claustrophobic..." He said underneath, causing her to smirk.

She opened the door and found it to be Sebastian.

"Hi..." She said with a plethora amount of disappointment in her tone.

"You don't look happy to see me..."

        "I am tired..."

"Baby...we are getting on a flight earlier tonight and leaving before them...."

        "Why?"

"So we can spend some time before you start shooting the season...it's going to be a long one...I just know it and I wanted to get some time with you..."

"I'll meet you in the lobby." She said sternly, with obvious signs of sadness.

        "I'll help you pack..."

"I wanna help. Especially with those sexy pieces of lingerie I'll just rip off of you anyway..."

With that comment, Colin did everything he could to restrain but failed, causing a sound that alerted Sebastian.

        "What was that?"

Jennifer placed her hand upon his chest and kissed him sweetly yet distant.

"The people below us...please darling...I'll see you downstairs. I have a personal call I'll make then I'll go."

"Alright..." He said as he looked back toward the bed and then out the door.

She waited until the door shut before she moved toward the bed once more.

        "He's gone..."

He said something muffled under his breath before standing up straight.

        "What?"

Taking a deep breath, he answered.

"I don't like the way he talks to you....he isn't kind or a gentleman..."

"I am not sure friends care that much about comments."

"I think you and I both know we can't be just friends..." He said as he left her there, with the possibility of them lingering in the air.
