Sitting down at the table nearest to the door and window, she sat across from Henry who wore a smile broad across his face as if he had just succeeded in a life long dream.
"I am surprised you agreed to meet with me..." He said taking the coffee in front of him and sipping it.
"Yeah, just needed someone to talk to, and you know all the details."
"What would you like to talk about?"
And the conversation began. They discussed all the situations raising up until he spilled a vital piece of information.
"I never usually take jobs where I am paid outside of the Canadian press..."
"Wait...You were paid to stalk me?"
"I've always been intrigued with you. The way you act, it is marvelous...the way you carry yourself...Beyond being beautiful...you are talented and smart and clever...I won't lie. I was very surprised with that video..."
"Sorry...But I'm slightly confused...Were you hired to stalk me?"
He nodded.
"By who?"
"That's part of the deal I'm afraid....I was paid to keep them quiet..."
"You nearly killing us?"
"My touch...I couldn't stand the fact that he kept you a secret...It hurt me to see you hurt..."
He reached over and touched her hand and she smiled. But deep inside, red flags as well as sirens went off. In the distance was a dark colored car and inside a scorned man. One of great passion, for revenge and love. With both together, he found a great pain in his heart. Rolling down his window, Colin looked across the street and watched as Jennifer became friendly with her stalker. Out of confusion and rage, he clenched his fists tight on the steering wheel and found himself to be a stalker. But his motives were far more clean.
