Still not being able to forget her love was to be a dad, she made her way to work but discovered she had no scenes with him. In fact, she had not seen him in two days time since they confessional portion of their relationship and she was still recovering from the stalking situation. It had also been two days since she heard from Henry and she began thinking about his whereabouts constantly. She did find the cameras in the places he said and destroyed them all-not without saying a few choice words of course.
As she went out to her car, there was a letter on her windshield. Typed out completely, she found it to be a love letter.
Jen, I am sorry about deceiving you regarding Helen and the child. I never meant to hurt you. To make it up to you, I would like to take you out tonight. If you accept, meet me at this address for a night of surprises as well as romance. If not, I understand. -Col.
She couldn't help but smile at the note. Believing her forgot about her or did not love her any longer drove her insane. Forty-eight hours had passed when he held her in his arms and they exchanged their vows to one another. In that moment, they had promised to always be honest with one another. But she did find it odd how he had not spoken to her, this was his way of making up for it. Taking the note then entering her car, she found three red roses upon her seat. She took them and then placed them on the passenger's chair. Looking in her rear view mirror, she noticed she was able to drive and set toward home. When she arrived, the remaining flowers to complete a dozen-set bouquet sat on her mat.
Opening the apartment door she found the entire apartment to be filled with flowers. Of all colors, shapes, and sizes. It caused a pleasant nature aroma to linger in the apartment as she got ready for the date with Colin later that night.
Heading up to shower, she noticed more flowers that filled the halls, steps, and rooms. Getting ready for later that night, she wore a pretty purple dress that had lace cut-outs on her hips as well as on the bottom hem of the dress. She curled her hair just slightly-in the way her character Emma wore it, and placed a minimal amount of makeup on. Accenting her eyes especially. Along with that, she placed perfume on her neck, arms, and waist, as well as her knees and then brushed her teeth before applying lip gloss.
Making her way to her car, she received a text.
Phone died. Using a friend's. Can't wait to see you tonight...
She smiled as she responded back, but found the number to be blocked so she could not. Slightly confused, she placed the address into her GPS and headed to the location. It took half an hour to get there, which was peculiar for random dates from Colin. Jennifer exited the car to find a run-down part of town outside her car. One small restaurant, which looked more like an old 80's cafe or a themed 80's cafe was located in place of the address. As she entered, eighties music played and a jukebox was lit in the corner. On the counter were food items from all genres of food; spicy, sweet, mild, and even salty. She went past them slowly and smelled them-basking in the scent. When she made it to the end, there was another note.
Blonde hair, Green eyes, what you hold from me? I wanted to secrets, but you betrayed me Goldie.
