"Egypt, please sit back and don't make me tell you again!" Exodus said to his nephew. Egypt defiantly sat up because he didn't feel like sitting back because Crew was snoring in his ear.
Exodus cut his eyes at him as the irritation started to burn in his chest. Egypt slammed his body into the seat and didn't care that his body slammed into Crew's because he wanted her to wake up anyway. She woke up crying because she felt a hard thump to her head. Exodus reached his hand back there to yoke Egypt up but he pushed Crew in front of him so he wouldn't get touched. His irritation now was through the roof.
He didn't have a good day at all. It was his birthday and his morning didn't start good at all. Elias dropped all of his kids off this morning and left to go to work without an explanation. He doesn't mind watching his nieces and nephews but dropping them off and leaving wasn't a good look at all without an explanation. He was also pissed because Elias didn't know what he had planned for the day and now whatever he had planned now have to be cancelled.
He had to feed the kids and drop them off at school, in which they were late for, and because of that, he was late for work. Not five minutes late, but 30 minutes late. He walked into work irritated, they were short staffed at work so he had the bulk of the patients and they irritated him as well. They had so many patients that he didn't get a lunch break either. Later on that day, he picked the kids up and Egypt wet himself before he got into the car. Exodus always ask the kids if they gotta go to the bathroom before he pulls off all of them said no, including Egypt.
Exodus was irritated, annoyed, hungry, and just plain ol' tired. He wanted nothing more than to go home and get naked but he can't. On top of the irritation that he feels, Elias is not answering his phone and he called him all day to try to get some sort of update. But no.
He just wanted to know if he should be worried or not. On top of that, Eden or East wasn't answering their phone's either because Eden was concocting East Bachelor party and was inviting everyone and East was too busy doing last minute wedding shit. Exodus just couldn't believe it. This is not how he imagined his birthday turning out.
He finally made it to his house and unloaded the car. He grabs Mercury first and allowed the rest of the kids out of the car. Since today was Friday, the kids routinely left their book bags in the car and closed the door. They all made it into the building and they got on the elevator and made it to his door. Elle'Joi had his keys so she unlocked the door and opened the door as well.
He huffed in annoyance as he looked around his living room and dining room and seen how messy and out of place things were. On top of being hungry, angry and irritated, he has to clean as well and Exodus became officially done. The kids already knew what to which was take off their shoes by the door and wash their hands before they touch anything else. He closed the door behind him and gently took Mercury out of his car seat and took him into his room and placed him in the crib that was beside Exodus' bed. All he had was a onesie and some khaki shorts on so he would be okay.
By this time, the TV is on, the kids are on the couch sprawled about with their uniforms on. Exodus didn't have the energy to tell them to take their uniforms off and put on their house clothes because the kids knew what to do and he didn't feel like fussing. He was simply too irritated to do so. He walked into the kitchen to make sure that his snack pantry is up to par and he nodded his head. The kids have some snacks to eat. The kids were limited to 2 bags of chips and 1 honeybun since they liked those the most. No juice but water.
He walked into the living room and pointed to Egypt was getting comfortable on his couch with his urine-soiled clothes. With no words, he motioned for Egypt to get in the shower and his siblings watched him go in the back. They all decided to go to the back and change out of their uniform clothes and go back on the couch.
