"Man I really can't believe that you're leaving me, Ms. Lady." Magnus said as he took Virtue's picture, which will probably be the last time.
She didn't say anything right away but she posed and posed some more until she felt like she was ready to see the pictures he'd taken. She went to embrace him and then he embraced her back. She scrunched her nose up because he smelt of strong cleaning supplies and it wasn't pleasant.
"You smell like Bleach and Fabuloso," She said, still hugging him but trying to ignore the smell even though the smell was tearing her nose up.
"I am a janitor, ma." He said with a chuckle and then they pulled away as she was looking through the pictures on her phone.
"Ouu I like this one. I think I'ma post this one!" She showed him and he nods, requesting that she sent that picture to him.
She sent the photo to Exodus and of course he swooned over the photo. He sent her a heart because he was still at work and the only reason why she was free currently was because school was out for the community college today. She was glad because she needed a break.
Once the last box was in the car, he closed the car door for her and he helped her get in. She put her seat belt on and started the car up. Magnus hung his head down because now it settled in for him that she is really about to leave. She was considered something special to Magnus and Magnus always had the urge to protect and look after her and that's what he did for the last 4 years. They've grown close since then so it would feel a bit weird for Magnus not seeing Virtue everyday, her offering a smile to anyone she came in contact with or asking her to run to the store for them because he was low on household items. He was truly going to miss her.
Virtue seen the pout on his face and her face falters a little. "Mag stop looking like that. I'm only 20 minutes out from the city. You can pull up at my house and be there in 10. Fix your face," She pouts and he just huffs with his arms folded.
"Man why you leaving? And be for real." He said.
"I'm leaving because it's time to go. I always wanted a bigger apartment or a nice sized house and I found a bigger apartment to my liking with a nice price. This was always the plan after I graduated college so I saved and saved and now that I got a job at the community college, it was easier to save more money the way that I want. When I had enough, I paid my last months rent without breaking my lease and I had put a security deposit down at the new apartment. It was already in motion, but everything happened and came together overtime." She explained to him and he just leaned on her car silently while lighting up a cigarette.
She was going to tell him to move because she hated the smell of cigarette smoke and the cigarette period. She also hated the smell of weed or anything burning that's not a candle. Yes, she hates the smell of charcoal burning on the grill too.
