It was now the weekend and Virtue was excited yet nervous. She was also tired nonetheless. Tarryn called her last night concerning Ephraim and marriage counseling and all of that entailed her crying and whining about how she misses Ephraim and wishing she can take back all she said.

Of course Virtue tells her that she couldn't take it back because that was exactly how she felt and she meant it at the time. She also told her that now that it has happened, he will always be careful of what he shares with her because of how she acted last time. That made her cry even more. Aside from crying about Ephraim, Virtue did tell her that she was going to the beach with Exodus and Tarryn couldn't believe it. She even called it a secret date.

They talked all night till 1 am and now she was paying for it. It was now 7 am and she was cooking food for the road and beach. She was making fried chicken now but the rest of  the food was done. She made a small bowl of potato salad, homemade ranch dip, sandwiches and a small salad. If she needed anything else, she'll just probably buy it down there.

She packed her beach bag yesterday which consists of a new bathing suit, sunscreen, goggles, beach towel, swimsuit cover up, extra panties, extra outfit, hair ties and her arm floaties. Small things like granola bars, bagged fruit and small waters  were in there too.

Once everything was done, she took a shower and exfoliated her skin. When she was out in the sun, she wanted her skin to glow graciously. Her skin already had a natural glow to it, but dammit she wanted to shine. She shaved completely and looked in the mirror and made sure no hair was there.  Once she was done with that, she moisturized her skin and clad herself in something comfortable which consisted of an aqua and yellow plaid print mini skirt and an aqua multicolored button down shirt that she turned into a self tie crop top. She redid her hair in a puff and laid her edges down.

She didn't see the point in make up because if she was going to be a fish in the water then the make up would come off. She just moisturized her face and applied gloss to her lips. She assessed herself in the mirror and then she heard her phone ding. She looked over at her phone and seen that Exodus texted her, saying that he is 5 minutes away. She checked over her appearance, beach bag and  apartment before taking a deep breath and praying over her apartment, mind, body and soul.

She sprayed herself with her favorite fragrance Champagne Toast and headed towards living room. Once she made it to her living room, Exodus texted her saying that he's outside. Since he drove from Philly to D.C. to go hang with her, she didn't want to keep him waiting. She grabbed everything and walked out of her apartment and locked up. Since it was early Saturday morning, Magnus, Shelly or Barnard was outside at this time.

She carefully walked down the steps and a smile spread across her face. There he was, she thought. Because his window was down she could see him. The last time she saw him, he had a very low tapered fade but now it's accompanied by waves and his beard looked full and healthy. He was cute as hell then, but he was fine as hell now. It was crazy at what a month can do.

He hopped out of his all Black 2019 Lincoln Continental car. You can tell that he took care of it because his wheels shined and his car sparkled. There wasn't even a spot on the car and she saw her reflection in the car from where she was standing. His 5'10" stature became present as he walked to where she was standing and grabbed her bags and put them in the backseat.

Once he was with that, he opened his arms and Virtue gladly hugged him. His embrace was big, warm and inviting. While they hugged, she took in his scent and he smelt of Blue Sage and Lemon and she loved it. They both equally squeezed each other as they embraced for a while. Her hair tickled his nose as he enjoyed the fragrance of her hair. They pulled away and Virtue smiled at him.
