After leaving Ocean City and touching down to D.C., the departure process was hard. She didn't want the night to be over and he just wanted to stay in her presence. They hugged long and hard until they felt the need to let go. Unbeknowst to her, Magnus was watching from his window. He didn't feel some type of way but he was just watching for safety purposes. If it would have went left then he'll respectfully step away.
Once she got in the house, she ran to her window and seen that he was still there waiting on her. "I'm home now," She said eagerly to Exodus. He watched her in her house and winked at her.
"Glad you're safe. Now call Tarryn and let her know that you made it home safe." He said.
"You don't want to stay over? Its 1 am. Its late." She asked him. Its pitched black outside and the creeps were out. "And I don't want you to fall asleep behind the wheel." She pleaded her case.
He thought for a second until he realized that, "It's only a two hour drive, love." He told her. Honestly the drive was nothing for him. "And if I get tired, I'll just blast the air and play some music. I'll be in Philly in no time." Her face contorts into sadness as she thought about possible scenarios that he could face.
Why did her mind go there? She doesn't even know. But that's just the mind of a natural worrier.
"You sure that you're going to be okay?" He didn't verbally respond but instead he just looked at her. Only can be seen by a street light, he winked at her.
She winked at him back and he walked to his car. "I'll call you to let you know that I touched down." He assured her.
"You better." She playfully threatened. She watched him get back into his car and pull off.
She watched him vanish into thin air and closed her window. She scanned the living room again and went into her bedroom. She pulled out some sleepwear and walked to the bathroom and turned on the water.
She stripped out of her clothes and entered into the shower. She decided that she was going to wash her hair since she was in the ocean and decided to be a guppy. She don't know what lies in that water.
She grabbed her shampoo and washed the mess out of her hair. She take pride in her hair so it was a must to take care of it. Once she completed her hair care, she did her body care and then her skin care. She doesn't miss a beat.
By now it's 3:20 in the morning and her phone finally dings so she already knows it's Exodus.
He texted her, letting her know that he's home. But of course she wanted to see his face. She put on her sleepwear and got snuggled under her covers. She quickly remembered that she forgot her silk bonnet so she quickly grabbed it and put it on her head.
She pressed the FaceTime icon and awaited for it to connect. The call connected and Exodus' face came onto her screen.
"Ain't tired of my face yet?" He said immediately as Virtue assessed him on the phone.
He was shirtless with his eyes closed and appeared to be laying down. He turned on his side so that his face was in the light so she could see.
"Actually I'm not. I just called to make sure that you're in." She put the cover on top of her head childishly and he did the same.
