Its been a week since he left the hospital. He left the hospital with a broken blood vessel in his eye and with his left ear drum still ruptured. He also left the hospital with bad headaches, pain to his face and pain medication he was too scared to take. They prescribed him Tylenol 3 but he asked to get it switched to Ibuprofen 800. He refused to take narcotics because Zola used to abuse those when she went on her second downward spiral. He didn't want anything narcotic near him. He don't got time for the extra feel good.
When he made it to the CVS and he was glad that they switched out the Tylenol 3 for Ibuprofen 800. He couldn't wait because his jaw and his ear was really messing with him. His cheekbone was hurting still but it wasn't nearly as bad as his jaw and ear. Pertaining to his ear, they said that it can heal on its own within a few weeks but Exodus still cannot hear in that ear and that makes him a tad nervous.
After getting his medicine, he went to his job to turn in his FMLA papers that he completed from the hospital and let them know that he's going to be out for some time. The doctor scored out 6 weeks of him being out of work but he lowered it to four weeks. With next week being Thanksgiving, he'll have a break before the break but that time off work starts now. His job was concerned but they also told him to get well soon. Some even gave him weird looks because he came in with dark shades on and an ear patch covering his whole ear and he was writing on the notepad.
After that, he left and drove home. On the way home, he couldn't imagine what he was going to do for the past four weeks of being home. He was just glad that his four weeks start after Thanksgiving. He made it in the house and rested himself. He took off his shoes and made it directly to his bed. He took off all of his clothes and hoped in his bed, laying on his back and trying to relax.
He was hoping to relax these next four weeks.

Ephraim rubbed Tarryn's stomach as she cried. He was trying to comfort her but it wasn't working at the moment. Tarryn was in the bathroom doing her normal routine which consisted of brushing her teeth, washing her body and greasing up. She made it to her hair and it was shedding but more than usual. She combed through and combed through her hair and it seemed as if more came out the more she did it. She was emotional about that. Then, she stepped on the scale. When she seen how much she weighed, she became hysterical.
She was gaining weight in stages and she was okay with that, long as it wasn't dramatic but when she seen that number damn near double, the tears came as an out pour. Before pregnancy she was a cool 165 because her and Ephraim was eating right and going to the gym daily. Beginning of her pregnancy she was 170. She was now 188 pounds and it was all she could think about.
Ephraim tried to coax her and tell her that she was beautiful even with the weight gain. "Mommy listen, you are beautiful inside and out. You are carrying a life inside of you and you are so beautiful with and without carrying my baby. Gaining weight is apart of the pregnancy and I know we worked hard for this weight to come off and it did but now you're pregnant. You can't control that boo but you can manage it and not let it get bad, yes?"
She nods her head at him and wiped her tears. "It just happened at once. First my hair shedding like I'm a damn cancer patient and now the weight gain. I just don't feel pretty." She said as she let out a silent cry.
The crazy part is with her prenatal vitamins, it made her nails grow, skin glow and her would seemingly flourish until she washes it or comb it through and detangle. She has PCOS and before she was pregnant, her hair would shed but not that bad. But it seemed like ever since she got pregnant, her hair has been shedding like crazy and she just doesn't feel pretty like that anymore. Of course, Ephraim encouraged her and told her that she was beautiful whether she had hair or not.
