Ever since their talk on the phone, this have been good between them since. She smiled for the rest of the week.
On Tuesday, she got a bouquet of roses sent to her classroom and all of her students were all in her business but they hyped her up and all of that. Paired with the roses was 'A Job Well Done' in lieu of her 6 year teaching anniversary. She absolutely loved it.
On Wednesday, he sent her date ideas for the next time that they will see one another. This one made her smile all day.
On Thursday, they had a cute FaceTime lunch date even though they were at work and it was short. She had to babysit a student who was fighting so while Exodus was actually talking, she ended signing to him. She was appreciative nonetheless.
On Friday, she got a package from him. It was very small but she wondered what it was. When she opened it, her smile couldn't be wiped off. It was her original charm bracelet and it was her new necklace that Exodus had given her for their anniversary.
At lunch, she FaceTimed him, made direct eye contact and he watched her put the bracelet and necklace back on. He was overjoyed that she got it because he was starting to worry, but he was glad that she was sporting her necklace and bracelet.
Virtue smiled the entire week because he was winning her back. He never lost her per say, but he was trying his best to get back on the side that he misses very much.
Truthfully, that night that she took it off, he went to the store to get her necklace fixed but ended up buying a new one and since the charm bracelet was still fine, he just packaged it with the bracelet to send it back all at once. Initially he sent it to her to say that it wasn't his to keep but now that they've made up, it would have hurt him worse to see it in his house everyday then her wearing it. That gift came from his heart and so he had to return it to his heart.
Friday night had came and Virtue was so excited. Vanessa and Aspen were flying down here for the weekend and Tarryn was packing a bag. She decorated her whole downstairs so it can look fun and festive and she loved what she put up. She even put up balloons and let it rise to the top. She had her neighbor, Mrs. Channing to make her pink and orange cupcakes and she paid her.
Mrs. Lorie Channing is married to Mr. Edward Channing. They're a cute older white couple and they've been the nicest neighbors that Virtue ever had. Mrs. Channing was a retired trained pastry chef and Mr. Channing was a retired Navy vet. They both share a daughter but Virtue never seen her.
Once Virtue fully got settled in, thankfully to her successfully breaking her lease, they saw her move in more stuff and when she was done, Mrs. Channing offered up strawberry pound cake and it was delicious. Virtue invited her in and they talked for hours. She was a sweet woman. Though she's retired, she bakes often and when she wants to try something new, she runs to Virtue to try it out first.
Virtue also noticed that whenever Mrs. Channing came around with goodies, she never wanted to leave. Of course she leaves after a while but Virtue noticed her lingering. In a nice way Virtue brought it up and she admitted that all of her girlfriends have passed on so its just her and Ed. Virtue concluded that Mrs. Channing just needed a friend to talk to.
Since admitting that, Mrs. Channing and Virtue formed a nice bond. She was cool peoples. Plus, Virtue was learning to make and bake new things too, while Mrs. Channing asked her about math and flowers. That's all Mrs. Channing knows about Virtue besides having a boyfriend. Nonetheless, Virtue knows that the relationship is very harmless.
