Wolf gets a mothers wrath

The light from the sun forces me awake. My room looks completely different, more like this isn't my room and more the medical facility. What happened to me fornme to end up here? I sit up to get a better look at my surroundings. Only to find a tuff or red hair wraped in a blanket around their body.

As if my awaken, has also awoken them, she also stirs awake. The emotions that quickly go across her face were surprise, relief, joy and finally staying on anger.

Minna - ' Do you have any idea how worried everyone was when to suddenly collapsed in the command room? '

Before I can actually say anything in my defense.  She cuts in again.

Minna - ' Lucchini was freaking out, thinking she caused it. Sakamoto, was shocked but quickly understood what happened.  I asked Lucchini what time she finished "putting together" Shirley's unit she said it was late at night. Then when I asked others of they seen you come back from the hangers, no one said they seen you until early morning on your way to my office. Yesterday you even tried to go into combat in that state, are you suicidal? Do you even care what we think? Do you even care what I think?'

She starts crying. I lean over to her and hug her. I rub her head like she did for me.

Ashley - ' I'm sorry. Im okay now. Im sorry, don't cry. '

Seeing her sad like this really hurts me. I should really look after myself. She's done so much for me. She let me stay here eventhough I have no reason to at the beginning. Also she gained my trust and respect.

After some time of her crying and me comforting her. She stoped and tried to wipe her face. I lean over woth my sleeve in my hand and wipe the remaining tears and clean her face.

Ashley - ' Im pretty sure you have a meeting for our budget coming up soon. We should get the paperwork and reasoning for a better budget in place. '

Minna - ' Yeah, by the beginning of next week, do you want to come with me? '

Ashley - ' And leave all the trouble makers alone in the base? '

Minna - ' You're one of those trouble makers too you know. '

She lets out a little laugh. She is so dazzling when she laughs. Its best we take a bath for now, its currently a time when no one goes and I know Minna isn't used to Fuso style bathing.

Ashley - ' We should go wash up, would you care to join me? '

Minna - ' I usually take my baths alone. I guess It would be okay if there was one person there. '

I slid out of the bed and grab her hand, and walk out of the room to the bathroom. The time of day is just before noon, when enter the bathing area.

I undress myself and neatly fold my clothes in one of the baskets. I look over to Minna whos face now matches her hair colour. Thats really cute, I really want to tease her.

Ashley - ' You look really cute Minna, like a tomato. '

This suprises her and she lets out a yelp and turns towards me. I have towel balancing on my head and nothing else. Her face goes a few shades redder. I move closer to her and help her undress while she is distracted in her own mind. I fold all her clothes, grab a towel for her, and take her hand and lead her to the bath.

I wash my self, but notice she is not responding yet, so I wash her too. Almost make me feel like im the mother. When I drop water on her to rise her off from all the soap, she regains awareness.

Minna - ' I thought I was still in the change room? '

Ashley- ' you went into a daze, so I undressed, and washed you. You done so lets just relax in the bath now. '

Minna just looks at me processing what I just said. Then she come to her own conclusion.

Minna - ' Is that all you did? '

Ashley - ' Yup! '

I pop the "p" for more effect. She looks disappointed, but then look confused at her self, and brushes it off. She then walks over to the bath and gets in, I also join her.

We relax in the bath without a word, just pure relaxation. This goes on for an hour before I realise that at non some of the girls like to come in a little before lunch.

Ashley - ' We should head out now, we've been in here for a long time. '

Minna - ' hmm? '

Was she dozing off? Did she not sleep much?

Ashley - ' unless you want other to join us we should get out now. '

With me saying that she gets up quickly and makes her way to the change room. I slowly follow behind her.

We get changed and we make our way to her office to do some work. About an hour later we joinnthe others for lunch and then tea a bit later.

The rest of the week follows the same the beginning of the next week we had a neuroi but it was easily dealt with. Later that afternoon, Minna, Sakamoto, Yoshika and me all whent to Britannia for a meeting with Command staff me and Yoshika waited outside. When the meeting was done Minna was angry. Looks like they cut out budget again. I follow Minna back to the plane. We all bored it and start our flight back home.

I start to doze off  and rest my head on Minna's shoulder.  I could hear a faint giggle. Then some singing, what a wonderful voice. The singong stop, not because the song it over but because of something else. I wake up.

Ashley- ' whats happening? '

Minna - ' Sanya detected a neuroi, shes dealing with it now. '

I look out the window of the plane and see rockets flying about exploding in the clouds. It looks like the neuroi ran away.

Sanya escorts us back to base, we all disembark and go to our rooms to sleep. But the thought. Are the neuroi adapting or evolving? Are they actually alive? Or are they a robot?

These thoughts go through my mind as I got to sleep.
