Staring at the doorway that Pokryshkin just ran through. I should fix Ralls unit and just make it a pain nullification enchantment. I also have to talk to her and clear everything up with the others. I now realize how I questioned Pokryshkin. More misunderstandings, great.

I fix up Rall's unit, now no weird thongs should happen now. Best clear up the situation with her before I head to sleep.

Standing in front of Rall's room. I'm  just gathering my courage and sorting out my mind with the situation. Inhale, one, two, three, exhale. I go to knock on the door but some noises I don't want to hear are coming on the other side of the door. My mind is not ready for this, but it has to be done. If I can't believe in myself. Believe in the Minna that believes in me. I finally knock on the door. The sound of someone falling to the ground, panicked running, and the sound of rustling clothes fill the quiet night air. The door soon opens with a disheveled Rall, shirt hastily put on no jacket and a glimpse of a bare thigh tips me off on commando. I look back up to her face she is completely flushed and shes trying her hard to appear stoic. What a moe gap, she actually really cute right now. No bad thoughts, Minna is the only one for you. Minna in a cat outfit. I feel something wet come down from my nose, damn blood pressure.  I look back to Rall to she her stoic persona completely in shambles. Ah, more misunderstandings. Why?

Ashley - ' I fixed the enchantment with your unit, you shouldn't have the same problem again. Sorry for the trouble. Everything is a misunderstanding, it wasn't my intention to have this happen to you. '

Rall - ' A-alright, I understand. Is that all? '

She slightly closes the door. She acting so meek, she doesn't believe me. Oh no, this is going to be weird for sometime now. Im really going to be labeled like the Tanuki. I nod my head and step back, before I can fully step back the door is slammed in my face. I hear a muffled scream through the door.

I go back to my room to sleep, I hate being awake this long. Darkness consumes me, only for the the light to wake me from my rest. I still feel slightly tired. I should continue on my unit, the gun is fine might have to put a coil or velocity enchantment on it. Best do it now, skip breakfast so I don't have to see everyone right now.

I get to the hanger amd go to my private hidden corner. There are 3 corners like it but this one is mine. I pick the last tool I used last night and get back to work. The unit itself is well made, although the magic engine  has a large consumption rate, only a little amount of witches would be able to fly it. Looking at the engine I find that it actually wastes a good amount of magic going into it, if I reroute it and cycle it back into the unit it would lower the consumption,  as well as ease the burden on the witch flying. The other parts seem to be fine,   but some redundant parts are in here, really Ursula, a horn and leg heater. I remove the parts that make no sense, the amount of magic need to fly it in combat is now to the level of the average witch. Now for the gun, the magazine is fine the spring is heavy it has no tension on it, it will be prone to jamming and misfeeding rounds. Ill do a triple spring set up. The gun its self is fine, the barrel might be a little long but its not meant for close combat in the first place.

That seems to be it. I guess a test flight should do, the other should have sortied already. I'll go give them a hand. I hop into the unit the drain is operating at expected levels no drop in performance so far. Alright pre-flight checks all green. Taking off. The sudden trust of these heavy engines catch me off guard,  but I quickly balance myself out and take to the sky. I approach the city of Petersburg and look around, a sparkle in the distance alerts me to an incoming Neuroi artillery round. I take aim, as Im about to shoot the shell splits up into two pieces. Damn! I see Nippa go into the path of one of the rounds but the other one will go past her. I adjust my aim and squeeze the trigger. The kick of the cannon forces me back a bit but I see my round connect and eliminates the Neuroi, I also see Nippa explode, again. Well this should be good test data. I head back to base and write the flight data and modification data of the unit. If this turns out a viable option this will greatly aid ground support witches.

As I'm writing my papers I hear some people approach me. I turn to see Rall, Pokryshkin, Nippa and Rossmann standing there. I give them a glance to let them know I know they are there.

Ashley - ' Did you need something? '

Pokryshkin - ' I wanted to apologize for my behavior, I never asked your side of the situation. '

I put my pen down and give them my full attention.

Ashley - ' It was my error in modifying the unit. I should have run a test for it before it should have gone into combat. '

Rall - ' It's fine. I just wasn't expecting it to be like that. '

Ashley - ' Is it better now? I changed the enchantment on it. '

Rall - ' Yes, It works perfectly now. '

I give her a smile. I turn to pick up my pen again but Nippa steps forward with Pokryshkin.

Nippa - ' I want to thank you for helping us, I wouldn't have been able to block both of them. '

Pokryshkin - ' If you didn't help us Nippa would have gotten hurt more then she did blocking the first shell. '

Ashley - ' It's fine, thats what a team is for, putting your trust in them for when you need it most. '

I continue to write my data logs and the girls then brake away and leave leaving Rossmann behind. I continue to write.

Ashley - ' You know, I sometimes wonder what if I could get the older witches that lost most of their magic, if I could let them fly again. '

Rossmann - ' They already fought to protect everyone, they deserve to rest now. '

I smile, that was my thought too, but with everything changing, I might have to disturb their rest.

Ashley - ' You're right. '

I turn to her and smile. She returns one and walks off. When she leave the smile leaves my face. I look off the the hanger's main door and look out to the distance. May they forever rest, but rise when called.
