Fenrir in the 501st

The results of what is said

As we are flying I stay slightly behind Hikari. I watch as she repeats an arm movement over and over again. Lets double check my gun and the ammunition for it, with what we about to face it won't look pretty. After inspecting my gun for the N number of times, I look up to see Hikari and Shimohara talking. I draw in closer to hear what they are saying.

Hikari - ' You're so amazing, Shimohara. You've been with the 502nd forever. '

Shimohara - ' No, I'm not much use to the unit, If anything Ashley is more amazing then me. '

Hikari - ' To me you're more amazing, your with the 502nd, everyone loved the food you made this morning. '

Shimohara - ' It doesn't matter is I can cook, I'm a witch. I need to fight the Neuroi and win, compared to other I have a long way to go. I have work even harder. '

Georgette - ' You're plenty good Sada. Umm... we are approaching lake Ladoga, so lets concentrate on the mission. '

The others go silent and get more serious. As we fly further in the snow starts to get stronger and stronger. We get closer to the ground and see the entirety of the town frozen over.

Shimohara - ' I see a Neuroi above the clouds. '

They pull up to go fight the Neuroi, out of the corner of my eye I see some Neuroi flanking behind us. Well then I'll go deal with that. Hopefully it all goes the same. I make my turn and fly off to the swarm of Neuroi. The swarm notices me and charges over to me. Before we get into fighting distance. I hear the radio crackle to life.

Georgette - " Th.... ette.....Neu.....in... 502nd...."

So they are jamming us. Shortly after I hear gun shots going off. Well then time to fight. As I pick up speed I also charge towards the swarm, killing a bunch as I fly through them. The hole I made quickly filling up. This is going to be a long fight.

The fight didn't last as long as I thought. The swarm backed off after somtime hiding in the snow storm again. I fly off towards where the other went looking to the gorund to see if I see anyone. The snow is too strong and I can't see anything only the tips of the trees as I also most hit them. Come on, I have to find you three. I remember the words that Rossmann said. " everything will be fine. " damn it! I won't stop, I can't stop. Not without knowing if they are all safe.

I spend all night looking for them, as dawn comes around the snowstorm clears up and I'm able to see again. Start my search a new. I wasn't till late morning that I see smoke from a fire, there they are. I fly over to the fire. My unit showing large amounts of wear the engine started to sputter in the dead of the night from flying in a blizzard and keeping a high speed while doing it. As I draw closer to the fire I see three girls waving me over. I slowly approach but the engines stall on my unit and I fall. I hit the gorund and lay there, the snow is so soft. I hear the sound of snow crunching and three worried voices.

Hikari, Georgette, Shimohara - ' Ashley! '

I slowly open my eyes and sit up. Right now is not the time for a nap, we still have to get back to base. The was still the swarm inside the blizzard we have to deal with. As I look around the small crater my fall made the 3 girls are already aroumd me helping me up.

Shimohara - ' Where were you when we when to fight the Neuroi above the clouds? '

Hikari - ' Wasn't she order not to fight? '

Shimohara - ' Ashley was a member of the 501st, she knows how to fight. '

The surprised face of Hikari makes me laugh. Shes so just so cute. Her eyes look at me with admiration.

Ashley - ' There was a swarm of smaller Neuroi hiding they trying to attack you from behind but I caught a glimpse of them so I held them off as you fought. Then I tried to regroup with you but couldnt find you. The radios didn't work. So I flew all day and night looking for you. '

Shimohara - ' So there was more then one Neuroi here? '

Ashley - ' Yes, Im not paranoid. Im used to Eila calling thing out in advance. '

Sorry Eila, im throwing you under the bus for them to not ask questions of me knowing things.

Ashley - ' So whats the plan? '

Shimohara - ' Hit it with intense heat and then strike it. '

Ashley - ' Alright that would work. We just have make sure that the fire or whatever you are using is hot enough to warm it up rapidly. '

Shimohara - ' We have that handled already, but we don't have a way to deal with the swarm. '

Ashley - ' Ill handle that, just get rid of the large one. Then the others can come help. '

Shimohara nods. We prepare to head out, all of us equiped the best we can. I double check my remaining ammo. If I make every shot count I should be okay. We all take off and fly towards the storm. Gaining altitude we reach above the clouds and see the Neuroi at the top of the blizzard. I lag behind the group so I can respond to the swarm when they appear. To my surprise they dont seem to appear. A tingle down my neck alerts me something is wrong. I quickly activate my shield as I spin around, blocking several Neuroi beams coming out of the clouds. Alright, they want round 2. I quickly dive in the clouds where the lasers came from and find the tail end of the swarm. I follow behind and judge the size and direction they are moving. Aligning my sights on target I give a squeeze of the trigger. The sounds of Neuroi screeches pierce the sky. The swarm quickly get agitated and charges towards me abandoning their early strategy of using the clouds to hide. As they charge me I make a layered shield drill and charge them as well. After the charge I turn around to see all the Neuroi shatter. I make my way back up above the clouds to see the other three finish the large Neuroi. I look down to the unit im using and see it start to stutter again. I better get back to base quickly then. I join the three and go back to base, I cant wait to sleep.
