Androphobic orders?

The lunch we had was nice. Another Fuso special. Yoshika would make an amazing housewife, Lynnette is really lucky. At lunch Minna told us all that our guests will be leaving soon. After that announcement we all disbursed. I continued on my week like normal. I heard that Minna also gave the order to not interact with the men on base. Being me of course I disregarded that.  I did my daily routine with maintenance and such, doing ideal banter with the mechanics and other personal. Yoshika came by and tried to offer them refreshments. As im about to tell the guys to accept it, a sudden chill down my spine. I tell Yoshika that shes not allowed to talk to the men on base when its not necessary for work, and I tell her to leave quickly. As she left my chill turns into absolute stillness. I had slowly turned around to face a demoness.

Here I am now standing face to face with an angry red head. I try to put on my most innocent smile.

Ashley - ' Hey Minna, funny meeting you here.'

Her glare disappears, only for a smile to take its place. I look over her shoulder to see the other mechanics scatter like cockroaches. I look back to Minna to see the smile that everyone dreads.

Minna - ' You heard my orders right? '

The tone of her voice leave no room for me to say anything but the truth.

Ashley - ' Yes, I heard your orders to not interact with the men on the base.'

Minna - ' For disobeying my orders your going to be grounded and you are to help Miyafuji with all the cleaning she does. Do I make myself clear. '

Ashley - ' Yes Ma'am. '

Minna - ' Good because you are to go help Miyafuji right now. '

I give her a salute and run off to where I seen Yoshika leave. After running around I found her sitting beside Lynnette on a bench. It seem that Yoshika is feeling down about the whole ' no talking to men ' order.  A Yoshika a social creature, so they need to be to express there thanks when needed. They both get up and start grabbing the dried laundry, I walk over and join them.

Ashley - ' Hey girls, I may or may not have gotten into trouble. '

I rub the back of my head. Yoshika turns towards me with a look of surprise on her.

Yoshika - ' what, why, what happend?'

Ashley - ' Minna caught me talking to the men on base. Im to follow you around and help you with the daily chores you usually do. '

Yoshika- ' Ah, thank you. More people means more fun right? '

Yoshika how can you be this cute? Lynnette your glaring. Wow, I really dont think she realizes she's glaring. They are so cute together. I begin to help take down the dried laundry and fold it. I'm pretty glad I dont have to clean Erica's room.

Later in the day we finish doing another batch of laundry, all that's left to finish folding them. The voice of Minna comes through the base speaker, calling for Yoshika to go to her office.

Ashley - ' You two go on ahead ill finish this up. '

Yoshika - ' You sure? '

Ashley - ' Yeah, go get going. '

They both run off, I resume folding and putting away the laundry. I need to make a secondary shield for Sakamoto. Because tomorrow her shield will be compromised. Ill set something up later tonight with her unit. In three days, three days until the warlock shows up. The 501st will go their separate ways, as for me, I have no idea where I will end up.

I look down from the ledge and see Yoshika and a young naval cadet running after a piece of paper. Minna grabs the paper and reprimands Yoshika. Im done with the laundry so ill head down to the kitchen and help them there.

Once in the kitchen I prep the cookware and ingredients usually used by Yoshika. As I finish putting out the last of the vegetables Yoshika and Lynnette show up.

Yoshika - ' Oh, Ashley. Are you helping woth cooking today? '

Ashley - ' Yoshika, I told you I have to help you with all the chores around the base. Plus I still have to do maintenance on the units tonight.'

I mumble the second sentence.

Yoshika - ' Alright, do you want to start  by chopping those up? '

Ashely - ' Sure, how fine do you you want them chopped? '

Yoshika - ' Just normal size will do. '

That doesn't answer the question.  That like saying yes  when someone asks how many. Oh well ill chop them to the size I would use them at. We finish cooking in record time, have to great chefs really speeds things up.

Dinner was good, fun idle chatter and the likes. I wash the dishes with Yoshika. We talk about diffrent kinds of food and meals that we like cooking. After cleaning and putting away the dishes we both head back to are rooms for the night. As for me I wait till later at night when everyone is asleep.

The dead of night  I sneak out of my room and reach the hanger, Sanya's unit is gone, she must have a night patrol tonight. Well time to work om Sakamoto's unit. I pretty much have to pull apart the entire thing. Rewriting some magic circuits, adding some parts, im pretty sure the emergency shield will deploy.  Since im here I should do the same to everyone's unit. Better safe then sorry. As I finish putting back together Yoshika's unit. I hear a unit come for a landing. Did I really spend all night here? Well lets go before Sanya sees me. I should go make a coffee to help me stay awake. I can catch up on my sleep later, for now time to wait and watch everything happen. Like I have always done. Two days now, I hope they won't hate me, if they do I dont blame them, after all I did finalize the  design of the warlock unit.
