Dean was driving back into Burkitsville so we could save the couple from being killed in the field.
"We still don't even know what will kill it."I stated
"We'll at least try rock salt and just get them out of the field."
"Sounds good." I told before we neared the orchard.
We got out of Baby and quickly got our weapons before rushing into the orchard.
We soon got to see them running making us run in front of them so they stopped in their tracks.
"Get back to your car." Dean told making them look behind to see the scarecrow getting closer to us. "Go! Go!"
They began to run away, and we both cocked the guns before shooting the scarecrow only for it to stumble a little bit before it kept walking towards us again.
"We running?" I questioned making him nod.
"Yep."
We began to run the same way the couple did as Dean cocked his gun again to shoot the scarecrow, only for it to keep coming towards us.
"Go! Go!" Dean exclaimed as he grabbed my hand so we didn't lose each other.
"I'm never gonna like scarecrows ever again!" I stated.
We soon reached the clearing and stopped in front of the car to see the scarecrow has disappeared.
"What—what the hell was that?" The guy asked
"Don't ask." We both told them.
'What the hell is this thing?'

We were sitting in Baby and Dean was holding his phone between us, with it on speaker as we talked to Sam.
"The scarecrow climbed off its cross?" Sam asked
"Yeah, I'm tellin' ya. Burkitsville, Indiana. Fun Town."
"It's a strange case Sam." I added
"It didn't kill the couple, did it?"
"No. I can't cope without you, you know."
'That kinda hurts.'
"So, something must be animating it. A spirit." Sam suggested.
"Definitely not a spirit." I told
"No, it's more than a spirit. It's a god. A Pagan god, anyway."
"What makes you say that?"
"The annual cycle of its killings? And the fact that the victims are always a man and a woman. Like some kind of fertility right. And you should see the locals. The way they treated this couple. Fattenin' 'em up like a Christmas turkey."
"That's not a great image to have." I told
"The last meal. Given to sacrificial victims."
"Yeah, I'm thinking a ritual sacrifice to appease some Pagan god." Dean stated
"So, a god possesses the scarecrow..." Sam began till he got cut off by Dean.
"And the scarecrow takes its sacrifice. And for another year, the crops won't wilt, and disease won't spread."
"Do you know which god you're dealing with?"
"No, not yet." We both told.
"Well, you figure out what it is, you can figure out a way to kill it."
"I know. I'm actually on my way to a local community college. I've got an appointment with a professor. You know, since I don't have my trusty sidekick geek boy to do all the research." Dean td making Sam laugh.
"You know, if you're hinting you need my help, just ask."
"I'm not hinting anything. Actually, uh—I want you to know....I mean, don't think...."
"Yeah. I'm sorry, too."
"Sam. You were right. You gotta do your own thing. You gotta live your own life." He told
"Are you serious?"
"You've always known what you want. And you go after it. You stand up to Dad. And you always have. Hell, I wish I—anyway....I admire that about you. I'm proud of you, Sammy."
"I don't even know what to say."
"Say you'll take care of yourself."
"I will. Also there's a guy here called Shawn, seems kinda strange. Been hanging out with me since he got here."
"Weird."
"Thanks for looking out for me."
"Yeah. Call me when you find Dad." He told
"Ok. Bye, Dean." He sadly told before they hang up.
He let out a sigh and I wrapped my arms around him so we were hugging each other.
"I'm here for you."
"Thanks Kat. I'm here for you as well."
'I don't know how I could live without them in my life. But now that they are in it.... I don't think I can ever go back to them not being in my life.'
