The battle in the barn.

Lee entered the barn and walked over to the control panel. He inserted a key before twisting it to unlock the cage Sam was in.
"What are you doing?" Sam asked.
Lee walked over towards the cage and opened the door before aiming his gun.
"Hey!" Kathleen asked before Kat jumped down on top of the cage and quickly used the gun as leverage to dodge the bullet and kick him in the head.

Back in the living room, Dean and the other three Benders heard the gunshot from the barn.
"You hurt my brother, I'll kill you, I swear. I'll kill you all. I will kill you all!" Dean exclaimed before Pa stood up and walked towards the open front door.
"Lee!" Pa called.

Kat had brought Lee to the ground before jumping on one of his wrists making them head a loud snap. Sam was also on top of Lee and grabbed the gun before hitting him in the face with it three time. Lee collapsed onto the floor before Sam tried to fire the gun, only for it to not work.
"Damn."
"This may be a problem if they've got guns and we don't." Kat pointed out.

"Lee!" Pa called again only for Lee to not respond again, making him turn to the other three. "Jared, you come with me. Missy, you watch him now."
Jared grabbed two rifles and handed one to Pa before they both left. Missy remained next to Dean, holding a knife dangerously close to his eye.

Lee and Jared entered the barn with their guns raised and looked around.
"Lee! Where are ya? Lee!" Pa questioned before they found him unconscious and locked in Sam's cage. "Damn it, Jared, get the lights!"
Jared moved over to the light switch and pushed it up, but he barn remained in the dark.
"They must have blown the fuses." Jared told.
Pa tried the control panel, but that was broken. The two moved into another room in the barn, Sam was hiding behind a bale of hay while Kat was back in the rafters. The two Benders heard a noise, making Jared look around in one area while Pa climbed a ladder leading to a balcony. Kathleen moved to a cabinet, unseen, and opened it only to stop when she heard a noise. Jared also heard something, making him walk to the cabinet and face it. He fired his rifle several times at the door but Kathleen didn't come out. He opened the cabinet and found nothing but tools inside. He looked around the barn when Kathleen suddenly fell on top of his back. She wrapped her arm around his neck and wrestled with him before behind knocked to the ground. Meanwhile, Pa was chasing after Sam. He fired his rifle twice, but Sam managed to escape. While Kathleen was on the ground, Jared aimed his gun at her.
"You stupid bitch."
He got ready to shoot her till Sam entered.
"Hey!" Sam called.
Jared turned around and saw Sam, making him fire his gun only for Sam to run and dodge it. At the same moment, Pa walked in behind Sam and got hit with the bullet instead. He fell to the ground and Jared cocked his gun before turning back around. Sam appeared from behind and grabbed the gun. Kat jumped down on top of Jared and pulled him into a choke hold as Sam hit him several times with the rifle till the two made him collapses to the floor as he fell unconscious.

Sam and Kat placed Jared into Kathleen's cage and closed the door. Sam walked over to the control panel and locked the cage. The two made their way over to Kathleen who was standing over Pa with her gun raised towards him.
"I'll watch this one. You go ahead." She told making the two stare at her motionless. "Go ahead."
The two left after that and made their way to get Dean.

Dean was still tied to the chair when a lasso went around the girl and pulled her back. Dean couldn't see what was happening but he could hear the struggle that was going on.
"Kid do not make me smack you!" A female told making him smile at the sound of Kats voice.
Soon the struggling stopped and Sam walked in to untie Dean.
"What's happening with Kat?" He asked.
"She's tying the kid up. She's doing a hogs tie? Where the hell did she learn that?"
"Probably when she was in scouts." He suggested.
"Scouts?"
"Yeah. I only learnt it today as well."
Soon Kat came back in dragging the girl behind her and gave a smile towards the boys.
"Hiya!"
"Kat. You were a scout?"
"Yeah. Got kicked out cause I punched this other kid even though they deserved it, my mother was able to get me back in since it was retaliation."
"What did the kid do?" They asked.
"Bullied me constantly. Last straw was when he tried to take my tater tot's, and I broke their nose. No one fucked with me after that." She told before walking over to a closet and put the kid in there and then made it so the kid couldn't escape.
"Kat, I will never stop telling you how awesome you are." Dean confessed making her smile.

The three walked out the front door and down the porch steps and met up with Kathleen who was leaving the barn.
"Where's the girl?" She asked.
"Locked her in a closet. What about the dad?" Dean asked making her pause before speaking.
"Shot. Trying to escape." She told but they could all tell that wasn't the story.

(Kat p.o.v)

We were all getting ready to leave and Kathleen was listening to a woman on her walkie-talkie.
"I think the car's at the police station." Dean confessed.
"I think it is." I added.
"Backup unit en route to your location." The woman told before Kathleen approached us.
"So, state police and the FBI are gonna be here within the hour. They're gonna wanna talk to you. I suggest that you three are long gone by then." Kathleen told making me nod.
"Thanks. Hey, listen, I don't mean to press our luck, but we're kind of in the middle of nowhere. Think we could catch a ride?" Dean asked.
"Start walking. Duck if you see a squad car." She told.
"Sounds great to me. Thanks." Sam told.
"Much appreciated." I added.
"Listen, uh....I'm sorry about your brother." Dean told.
"Thank you." She told before tearing up. "It was really hard not knowing what happened to him. I thought it would be easier once I knew the truth—but it isn't really. Anyway, you should go."
The three of us nodded before walking away and I could tell she was watching us leave.

We were walking down the road in silence till Dean broke it.
"Never do that again." He told to Sam.
"Do what?" Sam questioned.
"Go missin' like that." He informed making Sam laugh.
"You were worried about me."
"All I'm sayin' is, you vanish like that again, I'm not lookin' for ya."
"Sure, you won't."
"I'm not." He confirmed making Sam chuckle.
"I will." I told.
"Let's be real Kat. You go missing and the two of us will always go lookin' for ya." Dean told.
"Agreed." Sam added making me smile.
"I'm loved."
"So, you got sidelined by a thirteen-year-old girl, huh?" Sam asked Dean making him get annoyed.
"Oh, shut up."
"Just sayin', gettin' rusty there, kiddo." Sam joked making us laugh.
"Shut up." Dean ordered making Sam join in on the laugh.
