~~~HUSSAIN's POV~~~

I spent the night shuffling around in my bed and making short trips, to the garden. I had accepted the challenge very confidently but, now it was making me restless. Raj is quite good at maintaining his image and finding the slightest fault in his perfectly crafted character is going to be a tough job. I know who he really is because he proudly showed off his true colours in front of me. Yet, he will never do that in front anyone else.

Ab toh ek hi person bacha sakta hai; Malvika. After a long debate, I decided to call her in the morning and then, finally sleep took over me.

~~~PREET's POV~~~

"Get up you lazy ass," Paige shook me out of my peaceful sleep. Last night had been quite long and tiring, especially after my encounter with Raj.

I got of the bed, feeling awfully cold and numb all over my body due to the henna that I had forgotten to scrape off last night. The skin of my arms and legs felt like it was cracking as the dry henna peeled off.

"There is a problem- go freshen up and come outside, quick," she informed me, shoving me inside the washroom.

I took a long shower, spending majority of my time, rubbing the henna off my skin. The dark orange looked beautiful on my hands and I just couldn't wait for it to get darker. After I was done, I decided to flick a text to Hussain.

ME:: looks like someone doesn't love me enough. It didn't come out as dark :(

I kept my phone down and waited for his reply while combing my hair. My phone buzzed and I jumped at it.

HUSSAIN:: I should be the one reminding you how much I love everyday and not that henna colour. <3 :*

I smiled at it and read it twice before replying.

ME:: I need proof :P

HUSSAIN:: Why is everyone asking for proof? >.<

ME:: Everyone? Who else did? :o

HUSSAIN:: Nothing. I gotta go. Love you <3

Okay?

ME:: Love you more!! xoxo

HUSSAIN:: Hugs :) aur kisses bhi? ;)

ME:: Shut up!>.< ab nahi jana?

HUSSAIN:: Bye :) And remember, my love for you is deeper than that henna colour.<3

ME:: I know <3 and we will get through this together! See you soon :)

I read our conversation again, while smiling like an idiot, for sure, until Paige barged in my room.

"There is a mess outside. Do you mind?" She huffed and I rolled my eyes.

"Let's go," I shoved my phone under the pillow and followed her.

"But, how could you do this to us?" I heard papa ji's voice and frowned at Paige.

"What's happening?" I mouthed and she shook her head. "It's him," she whispered back as we entered the living room.

Raj.. Ugh!

"I am sorry uncle, but I really don't think that your daughter wants to go ahead with this wedding," he said, looking at the floor.
