~~~PREET's POV~~~
If anything could be more clichéd than my life, it would probably be a typical Bollywood film. Ek ke baad ek syapaa (problems). Isse better hota ki main chup chap daarji ki baat maan leti. Yeh trip nahi tragedy zyada hai. Ugh!
"Asmaara?" I nudged Asmaara's shoulder for the sixth time in past half an hour. Like always a 'hmm' was all she could manage. I tried talking to her about Imraan but she point blank refused to say a word about what happened.
I looked ahead of me in disappointment and caught Hussain staring at me through the rear view mirror. My cheeks heated up as I gazed right into his intense eyes. They were filled with questions and what scared me the most was that somewhere, I felt the need to tell him everything. For once I just wanted to open up to someone- someone other than Asmaara. I turned away instantly but, I could still feel his eyes watching me. I gulped the knot in my throat and tried focusing on the farms along the highway. My cheeks felt even hotter as I could still feel his eyes boring into me. I reluctantly shifted my eyes again and his gaze was still set on me. This time I frowned at him. Accident karvana hai kya?
"Hussain, watch it!" Waqas yelped as he took a hold of the steering wheel. The car took a rash 180 degree turn and stopped abruptly after bumping into a tree. The bonnet crunched and smoke raised up in the air.
Oh bummer! My big fat mouth!
"Don't tell me I am stuck with all of you even after death?" Jess said eventually, rubbing her temple.
"Unfortunately for you madam, we are still alive," Adeel chuckled from the back seat, "but my ears might have there funeral today if Hussain doesn't take his hand off that horn!"
"Guys hand nahi head," Asmaara said, looking scared. My eyes travelled over to Hussain who lay peacefully while the annoying sound blasted in and outside the car.
"Sain?" Waqas shook Hussain's shoulder but he remained still. My heart sank deeper into my stomach as everyone jumped out of the car.
"Oye uth!" Shehry, who was right next to Hussain by now, slapped him on his back. I held on to my breath and tears were on the verge of falling any moment.
Hussain? Please don't die on me....
"BOO!"
~~~HUSSAIN'S POV~~~

I grinned hysterically at their scared faces. Bhai rubbed the back of his neck and Adeel sighed loudly. "You are an idiot!" Jess punched my shoulder. I laughed even more and that only just annoyed her a little more.

"Chill man, just relax," Waqas's grin widened. He knew it was a prank. After the car crashed, I gestured him to play along.

Slap!

Ouch!

My face jerked sideway and my eyes went blank for a moment. My cheek stung. Darn! That was pretty hard. I slowly straightened up to meet the eyes of one and only Preet. What's wrong with her?!

"Bohot hassi aa rahi hai na?" She yelped, breathing heavily. She took a few steps back and ran a hand through her hair. Looking away, she stammered, "I..I am..S-Sorry," before stomping away from us, followed by Asmaara.

Anger, rage, frustration, sadness, concern; mixed emotions reflected in those shimmery eyes. However, I tried seeing past those, deeper as I could, but it felt as if she had a curtain over her feelings. Why would you have tears in your eyes for someone who couldn't mean any less to you?
