"Because you care about her?"

I looked down at my phone calendar where I usually track my period.

I'm late.

I feel my stomach sink as I go to Target to go get pregnancy tests.

I pay for them and the lady gives me a light smile.

When I arrive back home, my heart continues to hammer against my chest.

I take the test and after a while, I look back at it...and it's positive.

I sit there stuck...frozen.

At loss for any words.

After I'm able to move again I wash my hands, go outside, and sit on the edge of the bed.

Jackson walks in with a huge smile on his face, but when he sees mine it falters.

"Jackson...I um. "

"What is it, baby?"

"I'm pregnant," I say and his eyes light up.

"Y/N!"

"Y/n...Y/N!" Jackson yells at me to wake up.

"What? " I startle.

"You were talking in your sleep..something about a baby." He chuckles...the room is still dark so it can't be time for school or the academy.

"Yeah...well I um have no idea what I could have been dreaming of." I laugh softly.

"What time is it?"

" 3 am." He whispers and I frown.

"I'm sorry that I woke you up."

"No it's okay." He says bringing me closer to him.

"I just don't want you to be tired." I yawn and he runs his hand through my hair.

"I'm great baby trust me." He murmurs.

The moon shines through our windows, making his eyes brighter.

"I love you," I say suddenly.

" I love you too." He says looking at me intently and I feel nervous all over again like I did when we were in high school.

"Stoppp." I grin, looking away.

"Stop what?" He asks innocently, putting his hand under my jaw, and makes me look at him again.

"Stop that," I say pointing at his face.

"No." He says bringing me closer.

"Jackson..." I whisper and he hums in response.

"Would you still love me if-"

"-I would love you regardless of anything. Even if you were to cheat on me, I would of course be furious with you, but always I will love you." He says looking away from me.

"I know what happens if I don't...." I giggle and a smirk spreads across his face. 

"I like toxic Jackson as long as you don't hurt me," I murmured trying to contain an embarrassing smile.

"You like hearing it, huh? All the things about you that are addicting to me?" He says, dragging his fingers along my waist, causing me to shudder.

" Well..." I say pretending to think, even though his words from last night are engraved in my head permanently.
