Wanda POV-
I roll over in the morning to find my bed empty. What the hell, Y/N. I get ready to crawl out of bed but find Y/N sleeping on the floor on my side of the bed. She has her pillow from the bed under her head and a blanket covering her body.
"Y/N," I pull up my legs to sit with them crossed on the edge of my bed waiting for her to wake up. "Hmm?" Her eyes stay closed as she stretches out her arms. "What are you doing on the floor?"
She opens up her eyes slowly to look at me and outstretches her hand towards me to take. "I didn't want to have a dream and have a repeat of yesterday so once you fell asleep and I was about to fall asleep, I moved to the floor. I told you I wouldn't leave."
I tug on her hand to get her to join me on the bed. "Well, come back up here. You're awake now." She grabs her pillow and blanket then jumps over me to land on her side. The bed bounces us up and down a couple times, her laugh alone makes me smile.
She turns to her side and rests her head on her hand to look at me. "What made you change your mind last night? Why did you come in here?" I scoot closer so our noses are only inches apart as I finish speaking. "Nat came and talked some sense into me."
Y/N places her hand down onto my hip tugging me closer. "I'm sorry for pushing away." I lift my hand up to Y/N's face. "It is okay to need alone time but after what happened, we should have talked." She nods her head then removes her hand from my hip to look at my arm.
She pulls back the hoodie sleeve to look at the mark. Once again, she tries to heal it but nothing happens. "Can you tell me what happened like step by step?" I push on Y/N's shoulder to get her to lay on her back. She raises her eyebrows at me unsure of what I am doing.
I place my knees on either side of her left leg leaning over her. I can hear her heartbeat pick up speed. "So, we heard some noise in your room from out in the hallway so we came in and you smacked you hand." I grab ahold of her right hand and toss it to the side lightly. "Smack, I tell Nat to grab ahold of you and for Peter to get the first aid kit."
Y/N laughs as she looks up at me. "I love the sound effects." I push on her chest lightly. "Shh, I am telling a story," I can't hide the smile covering my face. "So, I grabbed your left hand and held it to the bed while you continued thrashing. You somehow adjusted your grip," I move her hand to grab ahold of my forearm, "and locked onto my arm."
Y/N nods her head looking down at my arm, her hand covers the mark. "Almost instantly, it felt like my veins were pumping fire instead of blood and it flowed through my arm up to my chest. It was getting harder to breathe."
She lets go of my arm to look at the mark again. "No, no, not yet." I place her hand back on my arm as she laughs with a smile on her face. "Steve came in and helped me pry your fingers off, now you can remove your hand." She dramatically lets go and moves her hand to my waist. "You woke up a couple seconds later."
She squeezes my waist gently looking up at me. "I don't know what I was dreaming about still. I told Nat last night, I can remember small unimportant details like my sleeping quarters with Drew but nothing that explains me marking you. I wonder if you could access them."
My hair falls forward over my shoulder hanging over Y/N's face. "Probably, it doesn't make sense though. Hayde said you would get your memories back by today but still all you remember is surface level stuff. Your dreams are showing you more intense dreams but none that you remember when you wake up. It's like you brain is trying to show you but it just can't."
Y/N locks eyes with me. "Drew said Hayde doesn't know everything. We already figured out that he meant that I could drain like him. What if there is a memory wipe in place that went deeper than the stuff Hayde knew about? To block the memories that Hayde doesn't know about?"
