Wanda POV-
I am never that vulnerable. Vulnerability allows for the chance to get hurt. A chance I have taken before and was burned. I thought I would never open up fully again to anyone. My heart can't take the pain when it is not worth it. At least, that is what I thought until I first locked eyes with Y/N.
"Wait, really?" Y/N finally looks at me. "Yes, I have been happier in the past forty eight hours than I have in the past couple years. You're different. You bring out the better side of me." Y/N lets go of my hand and pushes a small piece of hair out of my face and behind my ear. Her eyes, they are deep blue now. Her pupils are dilated and locked onto me.
The silence speaks volumes. I spread my knees apart further as Y/N steps between them. She looks down at my lips, a hunger in her eyes like she hasn't eaten for days. "Wanda," she begins to tilt her head down to my level, her hand moves under my chin lifting my head up softly.
"Tell me to stop and I will," she waits a little longer, the air between us getting heavier. She seems to be searching my face for any hint that I don't want this, that I want her to step away, to leave. I run my hand up the outside of her leg, my fingers trailing along her sweatpants that hug her hips perfectly. She looks down at my fingers with a small smile on her face.
I lock both hands onto her hips and pull her forward so her body is completely against mine. "Don't stop."
That is all she needed to hear. Y/N drops her head down and locks our lips together. Any space that would have been found before is gone. She litters my neck in kisses moving her way down to my collarbone. She lightly pulls back my hoodie to have full access to the pulse point on my neck.
She knows exactly what she is doing and what she wants. "Fuck, Y/N," I release my hands from her hips and move them further up her body. My fingers trail under her shirt against her skin. Y/N moves back up my neck sending chills throughout my body. She moves her mouth to my ear. "Hold on."
Her hands wrap under my legs lifting me into the air then onto my back. The comforter poofs up with the sudden change in motion. A small squeak escapes my throat. "Still okay?" Y/N is hovering over me, her knees rest on either side of my body. She looks concerned at my outburst. "Just kiss me," I wrap my hand behind her neck pulling her back down to me.
Y/N POV-
Our mouths clash together, a battle of who controls. I maneuver her hands above her head. Her fingers wrap around my hand as I pin them to the bed. Ouch, fuck. I feel at least one of the butterfly strips snap away from my skin. My heavy breathing and tensed back begins to radiate pain throughout my side.
"Y/N," Wanda can tell something just changed. "What's wrong?" Her lips are slightly swollen already, her cheeks flushed as she looks up at me. "Nothing." I lean back down to resume our intense make out session but she tilts her head so I kiss her cheek instead.
Another burst of pain shoots through my side. Holding myself up with my hand is not helping the cuts stay shut. "Y/N, lay down." Her words have more bite than a simple request.
I drop down next to Wanda lying next to her. She gets up and kneels on the bed next to me. She can assume what happened. "Roll onto your side." She pulls up my shirt as I twist over to my side.
She carefully undoes the gauze bandage and places it next to us. I look down to see there is blood covering the inside of the bandage. "Y/N, why didn't you stop? You ripped all but one of the butterfly bandages." I shut my eyes and try to control my breathing. My words come out between clenched teeth. "I didn't want to stop."
Wanda rolls her eyes. "I don't want you getting hurt though, Y/N. We can do this whenever." She pushes herself off the bed and walks into the bathroom. She returns a minute later with a damp wash towel, a new gauze patch, and more butterfly strips.
She carefully cleans up my side and places new butterfly strips. I can't tell if she is actually upset. "Are you mad at me?" Wanda lifts her eyes from my side to look at my face. "What? Of course not." She takes my hand in hers.
"Really?" I can feel my heartbeat in my side. I close my eyes for a second and try to push away the pain. "No, Y/N. I am not mad, I promise." She unscrews the bottle of pain relievers she grabbed from my bathroom and hands me two. "Let me grab you a new shirt."
Wanda walks into my closet and comes back out with another t-shirt. "Arms up," She begins to maneuver my shirt up and over my arms. "You know, if you wanted me out of my clothes, you just had to say so." Wanda scrunches up her nose as she laughs softly. "Oh, trust me, I do. But not tonight."
She slides my new shirt on over my torso and lays down next to me. She has her head resting on her arm, keeping her propped up. "Well, that was," she pauses trying to find the right words. "Exhilarating?" She nods her head.
"Can we resume that when you are all healed up?" I nod my head. "Fuck yes we can." I lean forward and kiss her lips catching her off guard. I pull away slowly, our noses graze each other's. "Don't tease me, Y/N." Her words are airy; her eyes are locked onto my lips. "It'll just make it better tomorrow." Wanda tilts her head forward resting it on mine. "I can't wait."
