Specialist Grace POV-
Y/N left the interrogation room without looking back. I wait a couple of seconds then enter the room. "Alice," She barely even acknowledges me as she waves away Garret. "We're done for the day, Garret. Thank you for your help." He steps out of his corner, "Thank you Dr. Gallagher." The click from the door shutting feels loud in the small space as he leaves.
Alice writes some stuff down in her notebook remaining silent, "So, thoughts?" She shrugs her shoulders then loudly sighs. "She's had a lot happen to her in her life. It is a miracle she turned out the way she did. Wanda is good for her. I don't understand how you can justify exchanging her life for Drew's though."
This is what I was afraid of. "She doesn't have the Hydra mentality. We fear that the second she has a chance to leave, she will. Drew at least full heartedly supports the cause." Again, more notes in her book. "Drew's alternate personality has spiraled and does not have the same beliefs as he once did, Abby. You know that."
She looks up at me folding her hands together in front of her. "Would you like my honest opinion?" I nod. "Of course. We're old friends. I don't want you to feel like you need to lie to me." I can tell Alice is debating what words she would like to use. She opens her mouth hesitating to speak before finally pushing it out.
"Drew is unstable. You are risking everything for the small chance that Y/N can fix him, that you can get the old Drew back, the one you fell in love with. If you can tell me with a straight face that this is the best move for Hydra, I will be here every step of the way to help Drew's transition however I think that this decision is driven more by your selfish desires. Y/N has done everything and more that you have asked of her even bringing Wanda with her."
She stands up in front of me collecting her things. When she has finished packing her bag, she rests her hands on the table looking down at me. "I helped pick you up off the ground the first time, but I won't do it again, Abby. This choice could dictate whether you eventually take over your Mom's chair as the Assistant Director of Hydra or end up alone with nothing to show for the years it took you to build this team."
Alice slides her bag over her shoulder and pushes in her chair. She pauses at the door, her hand resting on the knob. "Just think about what I said. Is it really worth it to you to risk losing everything?" With that, she pulls open the door leaving me alone with my thoughts.
Y/N POV-
Wanda throws me a towel as I step away from the bag exhausted. "It's been a while since you did that, huh?" I nod my head. "Thanks for staying with me." I walk up to her taking her hand in mine. "There is nowhere I'd rather be than here with you. I'm not going anywhere." Wanda squeezes my hand once.
I pull my phone out of my pocket to check for messages. Elliot and Harlee left a message on my phone that they finished their workout and headed back to their rooms. "Are you ready to head back now?" I nod. "Yeah, I could use a shower before dinner. Elliot and Harlee already went back."
Wanda lightly laughs. "Most people don't normally stay at the gym this long, baby. They probably just wanted a quick workout." I tug on her arm pulling her to me so I can quickly peck her lips. "I know. Thank you again. I just like having you close."
We start walking out of the gym to head back towards our room. "You don't need to keep apologizing, Y/N. I understand."
Our arms swing between us playfully as we start walking across the grassy field. I happen to glance over to the main building to see Specialist Grace. I lower my voice, "Look, it's Specialist Grace. I wonder who she is talking to."
The lady has two bags at her feet. She leans forward and embraces Specialist Grace. There are two men with guns strapped to their torsos standing guard a couple of feet away from them.
