Natasha POV-

I can hear Wanda's voice softly speak, "It's time." There is a beat of silence before Y/N responds, "It's time." I look over at Tony motioning us forward. "Blow it." He pulls the pin on the electromagnetic grenade he built yesterday per Shuri's instructions and throws it forward into the barrier.

Sparks fly in every direction as it connects and explodes. The barrier begins to dematerialize in front of our eyes. "Where are we going?" Steve is standing next to me waiting on my answer. We assume that Hydra was alerted as soon as we blew the barrier. "The lab. We don't have a lot of time."

Tony, Pepper, and Rhodes move to the high ground to give us aerial surveillance. Steve and I take off sprinting in the general direction of the ping coming from Y/N's transmitter. "Agents coming up on your right!" I look up to see Pepper beginning to descend down quickly to help us.

We make it to the side wall of the building Y/N and Wanda slept in and peek around the corner. Sure enough, there are six agents running towards us with guns raised. They hear Pepper's thrusters giving us a small element of surprise. I tap Steve's shoulder prompting him forward shield raised.

I duck down around him and take aim quickly hitting three of the agents before they return their attention to us. "Keep going!" He jerks suddenly dropping down as bullets spray into his shield. "Pepper, a little help!" He holds on tight to the shield blocking us both from the bullets.

I can hear the sound of the rotating machine gun start up and begin firing at the agents. "Guys, you have more company, you need to keep moving!" I can hear gunfire coming through the coms most likely from Tony and Rhodes. "We found the building. They are surrounding it quickly with agents!"

Steve pops his head up over his shield before moving forward again but this time at a faster pace. I still have one earbud in transmitting Y/N's audio. Specialist Grace is speaking again, "Wanda, the recruits are waking up. Can you go help calm them down please? Y/N, we want to get you all set up." No, no. She is splitting them up.

"Steve, we need to sneak around. Their transmitter is coming from the back side of the building." I hold my hand up to my earpiece. "Tony, pull the agents to the west side of the building. Steve and I are going to circle around back and enter through the east side." I can hear more gunfire in the distance, "Copy that."

I glance over my shoulder to see Pepper hovering behind us. "Go help them, we need them fully distracted!" She turns on her thrusters and shoots forward to go help Tony and Rhodes.

"So how does this work?" Y/N grunts in the silence, "You comply." Shit. "Steve, we need to go now!" We stop moving slow and take off at a fast jog running between the buildings that surround the grass field.

Steve speaks between quick breathes, "What's happening?" I can barely hear Y/N in my ear even with the volume fully up, "Nat, help." We stop at the last building corner before we have to cross the main road. I can see the lab building from here. "Y/N's in trouble. Specialist Grace did something. Her mic went silent. She stopped speaking."

Steve glances around the corner. "Most of the agents look distracted. I can see Tony flying around overhead. I don't know where Pepper or Rhodes are but it looks clear. Ready?" I nod my head and begin counting down. "Three, two, one, go!"

Wanda POV-

There are two guards outside the room holding the recruits. They part as I step up and open the door for me. Inside, they all seem to be waking up. "Wanda," Kali lolls her head to the side to look at me. "Did it work? Where is Y/N?" I rush over to her and begin unstrapping her wrists.

"We won't know until you exhibit signs of your new ability. Here, help me release the others." I look over to Nico's bed. Someone covered his body with a sheet. She follows my eyes to Nico, "Is he?" She doesn't finish her statement. I don't know how else to answer her. "Yes, he is."
