Ever since Levi has been brought up to the surface from the Undergrounds, he has always been treated as an outcast. Suffice to say, he liked it that way, that he was left alone, though, in truth, he hated it more than anything. After all, since the loss of his two dearest friends who have been with him since his days as a thug, being all alone and only having the guidance of the Commander was tormenting.

Even so, you befriended him.

It had taken some time for him warm up to you, seeing as ever since his loss, he's been cautious of letting people in. Despite that, he enjoyed your company and grew to accept you into his life. Whether he suffered a bad day during an expedition, you would place a hand upon his shoulder to reassure him. When he needed a shoulder to cry on, you were there, embracing him as much as he allowed you to- which wasn't all that often, but he appreciated your presence during those times. You were more or less, someone he grew to love, deep within his heart.

Often times would he like to remember your smile that brightens up his heart like the sky after a rainy day. Where every so often, a rainbow could be seen, yet its beauty was never something Levi loved about the sky, it was simply the fact that it was endless.

You were like an endless sky that has captures his heart, where the stars could never shine as bright or as wondrous as you.

And once he had become the Corporal, those days were limited. But your relationship with each other has never faltered. Knowing that the other cared, much interaction with each other due to the stagnant amount of work brought in didn't interfere at all with how much you loved each other.

This brings you to his office, lounging around with your legs kicked up above the sofa. Your body was positioned in a way where your hair dangled across the floor and your bottom, placed upon the back of the sofa. Blood rushed towards your head as you observed Levi doing his paperwork. You were done with yours and went to his office to keep him company- or rather, to simply admire him. But Levi didn't need to know that at all.

"Levi" you say, placing your hands on your rising stomach. "How's life as the Corporal so far?"

Levi stopped writing, placing it down to heave a sigh and lean his head back. "Shitty," he said in his irritated tone, one you've gotten used to ever since he called you annoying when you had first met him.

You chuckled. "Ah, as always," you say, moving your feet from side to side.

He raised a brow at your form, eyes lingering upon your face. "Are you not dizzy?" he asks.

You shook your head, smiling at him before responding, "not at all." Then, you sat up. "Say, are you almost done with work?" you inquired.

Levi took a glace as his paperwork, grumbling about the useless writings and cramp in his hand that he didn't bother to let you know about. "No, these words are so pathetic" he spat. "Tch, why do you people need to sign such papers?" he scoffed, unamused by the long words of writing that meant completely nothing.

You laughed lightly, understanding his words since you've gotten your hands full with them as well. "Guess it's to show how 'professional' or 'self-sufficient' we are? I don't even know honestly" you say.

Levi shared no interest in relaxing and returned his eyes back to his paperwork while you then laid your head down on the armrest of the sofa. Closing your eyes, you decided to sleep it out, waiting until Levi finished his paperwork before you could properly talk to him. He looked upwards and saw your rested face. Your lips were parted, breathing out small breaths with eyes fluttered closed. His heart soared at your state, happy to see you so calm and so at ease that he couldn't help but admire you from afar his desk.
