Camping (Levi x Reader)

Section Commander Hanji thought it would be a great idea to take everyone camping, and by everyone, would mean you, Levi's squad, and Hanji herself. Levi's squad consists of some of the 104th Cadet Corps, that being Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Connie, Sasha, and Jean. You were walking alongside Levi, holding the straps of your camping gear. The atmosphere was peaceful, the trees were swaying lightly against the wind as did small bushes and shrubs. The sound of water flowing was calming, indicating life for many of the small creatures within it. The air smelled of fresh flowers and frankly, something sweet. You hummed along the trail, footsteps silencing the silence as Hanji lead the way to the camping site.

"And...we're here!" Hanji happily exclaimed, fixing her goggles from the sweat that accumulated around her face. She had thought she'd gotten them off the path, simply because she was too engrossed by the map she was looking at.

"Not bad, thought you'd lead us to somewhere shitty" Levi said, crossing his arms as he made his way to the front.

"Don't think so low of me! I'm as capable as you are!" she remarked back, faintly upset he'd say that.

"Then why is Arlert carrying your gear?" gesturing towards the struggling teen. "You dropped it around an hour ago, did you even notice?" Hanji laughed nervously as she rubbed her neck.

"Aha...ah..." she cleared her throat, mouthing a quick sorry to Armin. "Let's leave our gear near that tree for now" making her way towards the tree. Noticing Armin struggling, you took it upon yourself to take the heavy load off him. You were strong, probably as strong as Levi with enough training.

"You must be tired Armin, thank you for carrying our hopeless Commander's gear" you thanked him. He sighed and waved a thank you. With everyone dropping their gear near the tree, Hanji's voice erupted through the forest. She claps her hands to get everyone's attention.

"Alright! First order of business, we'll have partners to ensure that no one gets lost!" she said while looking among the group of people. "Mikasa with Eren, Connie with Sasha, Jean with Armin, and Levi with..." she hummed for a moment, "(Y/N)". When the pairs were announced, many cheered for who they got. You raised your arm.

"Yes my dear?" Hanji spoke softly.

"Why don't you have one Hanji? I thought you'd need one seeing as how...uh...irresponsible you could be" you nervously said. Levi smirked, agreeing with you, but not really wanting to be paired with her, he'd much rather be with you.

"Pft, I don't need one aha..." she laughed nervously, "besides, you should be fine with Levi, aren't you?" she raised a brow. You looked at Levi, he remained stoic but had a glint of hope in them.

"Yeah, I'm fine with Levi. If he's fine with me?" you asked, he nodded and looked away.

"It's settled then! Second order of business is gathering food, since we are camping, why not enjoy the wilderness?" happily, she dashed off to gather some food. Faintly, you could hear the sound of her voice echoing as she shouts "meet back here when you're done!"

"Tch, shittyglasses making us get food" you heard Levi grumble.

"Oh cheer up Levi, it's fun to be outside. Better than doing paperwork" he sighed and silently agreed.

"WHOOO! I'm a natural at this!" Sasha exclaimed, she took Connie's hand and dashed off, but not before making a bet with her fellow comrades. "If we get more food than you guys, you'll do as we say" smirking, the game has begun.

"This isn't fair!" Jean shouted, not that he didn't like being paired with Armin, but because he knew that they'd definitely lose against Sasha.

"You're not afraid to lose or something, are you horse face?" Eren mused. Pissed, Jean went to lunge at Eren but Mikasa pulled him away in time, making Jean land on his face.
