Lending His Heart (Levi x Prosthetic Hand!Reader)

Breathing in the night breeze as it passed through your nose, you sighed heavily upon the mission to retrieve Historia and Eren from the hands of Kenny the Ripper. You were currently seated in the wagon with Armin by your side, who was taking the reins of the horse towards the direction of the Reiss Chapel. Levi sat across from Mikasa and Hanji while Connie, Sasha, Jean, and Moblit rode along the wagon.

"Understand?" Levi questioned, leaning his body forward with his elbows propped on his legs. "He's Kenny the Ripper. If he's there, he'll be our biggest obstacle." You turned your neck around, looked at Levi in the night. "In terms of how much of a threat he is, equate him to me as an enemy" he suggested, explaining the severity of the situation to retrieve back Eren and Historia from his hands. "No...with those weapons of his, he's deadlier than me."

"Though...it's not like he has no weak points" Armin said. You nodded in agreement.

"Their new weapon could be a point of weakness" you offered, "Kenny may have trained plenty with the new weapon, but having combat experience is something else. If he doesn't utilize them well in situations with our ODM Gear, we might as well have the advantage." Armin nodded at your suggestion, tightening his hold on the reins. "The anti-personnel ODM Gear has a big weakness. The anchor points in the same direction as the gun so once it's deployed, the gun can't be aimed again. Which means while the users move, they're vulnerable to an attack from behind." Armin quickly understanding your point, offered you his idea.

"But their greatest weakness is that when they fire twice, they'll need a few seconds to reload their weapons" he stated. You smiled and ruffled his hair lightly.

"Correct, and once we've closed in on them, swords have the advantage" you finished.

Gradually, you and the others approached the run-down chapel. Entering its doors, you held a lantern with Hanji approaching in.

"Found it. A hidden door" Hanji kneeled down as Levi came up to the latch of where the underground chapel was located. Serving as the site where the succession ritual for the Founding Titan took place. "Eren's gotta be in there with the enemy. Hopefully, the layout in there is like I predicted." You nodded at Hanji, to reassure her that everything would be fine before returning your gaze back to your work.

"These presents better pay off, considering we went out of our way to prepare them" Levi said, with Armin and you doing the last of the knots to secure the sack of oils and gas onto the barrels.

"All right, we should be good to go!" you and Armin informed.

"Are we?" Levi questioned, "is everyone ready to get their hands dirty too?" The scouts, including yourself who has never killed anyone before, have not quite prepared for what's to come in regards to killing lives other than that of the titans. But in terms of saving Eren and Historia, you were willing to go for it. Levi looked at the others, with their expressions holding fear yet ready to take on the mission. Then, he turned his gaze to you, sitting beside Armin with a solemn look. "Guess so." With that, the plan was set in motion.

But before it could, Levi pulled you aside as the others made their trek below. You glanced at him before looking at the others, seeing Moblit being the few of the last ones down.

"Is something wrong Levi?" you asked. His eyes casted downwards as he contemplated his wording, fearing that you may get hurt by Kenny or his underlings if things got out of hand. Then, he looked up at you, with an expression that held determination and slight fear.
