Smitten (Neko!Levi x Reader)

A/N: Marco's alive in this one :) and I apologize if some of the things Levi does make no sense when he's a neko.

"SHIT!"

You flinched at the sudden outburst. You looked around the hallway wondering where the sound was echoing from, was it to the left where Hanji was or to the right where Levi's office was? You didn't have to think much when another slur of curses was emitted to the left. 'Yup, that's Hanji all right" you thought.

"OH SHIT! HELP ME!"

Sighing, you made your way to Hanji, expecting some sort of mess or small explosion of some sort but when you entered into the room, you were rather...shocked.

There stood Hanji, holding various beakers with chemicals of blue and purple in them, and a small...child? They had raven hair yet something seemed off. They had black cat ears accompanied by a black tail. They were also wearing an outfit similar to your Corporal's.

"Hanji? Are you alright?" you said, staring at her with worried eyes.

"OH MY GOD! (Y/N)! YOU'RE A LIFESAVER!" she ran towards you and hurriedly hid behind your back.

You were confused, looking back at Hanji who was peeking over your shoulder at the boy with cat ears and tail.

"What's happening here Hanji?" she looked meekly at you.

"Well, I was performing an experiment on shortie and it seemed to have backfired" she said sheepishly, rubbing her hand on her nape.

"W-wait..." you pointed at the neko boy, "that's our Corporal?" you asked.

"Yup! He's one cute boy isn't he?" she smiled at you.

You were looking at your Corporal, he was much shorter, at the height of well...maybe a one-year-old. He was looking at you with a scowl, unhappy at the predicament he's currently in.

"Tch" he clicked his tongue, "get back here shittyglasses!" he ran towards Hanji with his little legs, tails flickering and ears twitching in annoyance.

"AHH!!" Hanji screamed and told you to protect her.

You hastily ran towards Levi and picked him up, he was rather light, since he was now small. You held him by his sides, his legs were dangling as his ears and tails twitched every so often. Looking into his grey hues, your (E/C) ones couldn't help but adore the little neko.

"Let go of me (Y/N)!" he struggled against your grip. You denied his request and walked all the way to the other end of the room.

"Hanji, can you fix this?" she lifted up her goggles and contemplated for a few minutes.

"I believe so, but he'll remain that way for about a day or tw-" Levi cut her off.

"TWO DAYS?" he was purely raging at this point, squirming around trying to free himself from you. It was in vain since your grip on him was strong.

"Now now Levi, this means (Y/N) will take care of you. You wouldn't want anyone else would you?" she smirked at Levi. He paused his squirming and just glared at her.

"Would you be alright doing that dear?" Hanji asked, hope glistening in her eyes.

"I'm alright with it if Corporal's alright with it" you made it so that he looked at you.

"Would you be alright with that sir?" he nodded his head, ears on point and tail swaying slowly. Hanji knew he was happy about you taking care of him, but you didn't know.

"Alright! It's settled then, (Y/N) will take care of you until I make the antidote" she gestured for you to let go of Levi. You did so and she whispered cautiously to his ear "this is your chance" before bidding the both of you farewell.
