As soon as you smelled the morning air, hinting at the season of spring, you sprung out of bed and headed towards the garden. Your garden.

Normally, headquarters didn't need a garden. It was quite a hindrance to some useful land that could be made into training grounds but per your request, Erwin permitted you to use the space as you pleased.

After getting the proper tools, a hand above your eye to cover the bright glow of the rising sun, you took your shovel and began gardening to your heart's content.

Humming happily without a bother in the world, it was just you and your flowers and growing fruits.

At this point, many cadets were getting up, including the Corporal. He had gotten up from bed, and despite the soft pillows and blanket, he had only managed two hours, if not one hour, of sleep.

Sighing, he rubbed his eyes, dejected and beyond capable of holding up his facade any longer. However, as he was proclaimed to be 'Humanity's Strongest Soldier' what else was he supposed to do but uphold that? Nothing, and he found comfort in nothing more than his tea. His mind flooded by day to the brink of the screaming of nightly howls, with the lost voices of the dead and the dreams of his heart, yearning to be free and true.

At last the sun has risen to scream the cadets and superiors awake, and Levi has prepared himself some tea. Sitting by the farthest table, away from everybody that annoyed him, he brought the rim of the teacup to his lips and took a much needed sip.

Pulling away, he exhaled contently, but was soon followed by a hitch of his breath when a face was suddenly beside him.

"What the fuck four-eyes?!" He shouted lowly, pushing Hanji by her shoulder.

She laughed her hearty laugh as she always does, gaining some few glaces before they returned back to their meals. "You should've seen your face! It was priceless!"

Snarling, Levi got up and found another table, but furrowed his brows when Hanji decided to prop her ass into the seat in front of him. "Tch, what do you want? I got no time for your damn requests for more titans."

"Actually-" She paused. Her eyes shifted to the window to see the clouds covering the sky before looking back. "Damn, you know me pretty well huh?"

He rolled his eyes, taking another sip in hopes that would give some hint of his increasing dissatisfaction of her presence. "Obviously."

"Well, then you must know what I look for in someone then huh?" She suddenly smirked, having succeeded in trapping Levi into making her ask him the same question in return.

Levi paused, a little interested in who this unlucky person would be to fit into the crazed scientist's ideal man. "I don't nor do I care." He lied.

She squinted her eyes, studying him before coming to a conclusion. "You're lying! For that, I will tell you."

"I don't-"

"I like a man who listens." She began, eyeing Levi harshly before staring out the window. Her chin rested on her palm, content with the world no matter how cruel it was. "He'll listen to me about my theories, helps me with my reports, and doesn't mind it when I tend to lose my mind. Which is mostly when I've discovered something new. And he looks out for me whenever I'm careless."

The man couldn't care, he couldn't, but he still listened. It wasn't hard for him to find out who Hanji was describing- Moblit.

His grey eyes glanced at the man, Hanji's loyal assistant, eating away while revising some of her reports. "Sounds to me like you're talking about Moblit."
