His Only One (Levi x Reader)

During the early morning of the month in which expeditions were low, you and your other female comrade of the Special Operation's Squad were sound asleep. Well, that was what you thought.

You groaned when you heard shuffling and quickened footsteps. Opening your eyes, you saw Petra walking frantically around, her thumb in her mouth as she nibbled upon it nervously.

"P-Petra?" you asked groggily, slowly sitting up. You rubbed your eyes with the back of your hand as Petra looked at you.

"Oh! (Y/N)" she said, rubbing her neck nervously. "I uh- didn't mean to wake you up so early." You waved your hand, using the other to cover your yawn.

"No worries, I had to wake up sooner or later, especially today" you said, flipping your covers off and bringing your legs on the edge of your bed. "Why are you up so early?" She looked around before sitting down beside you.

"I was hoping to purchase a dress I found a few days ago, and I thought that the earlier I was there, the better I would get my hands on it when it restocked" she explained.

"Ah, why so nervous?" you questioned.

"Well...I don't actually have enough money for it. I was saving up! But then I-I...think it was stolen" she spoke sadly. Your brows furrowed before lightly smiling at her. You brought a hand to her shoulder as her head hung low.

"I can always lend you some of mine y'know?" you offered. Her expression changed into one of gratitude, taking hold of both your hands, she bowed her head.

"Thank you!" she exclaimed lowly, cautious of the other people around the barracks.

"No need to thank me, I'll have your back when you need money" you chuckled lightly. She did too.

"I'll be able to impress him!" she exclaimed, failing to realize that she had just voiced her thought. You tilted your head.

"Him?" you questioned. Petra hitched her breath, surprised that she had just voiced her thought.

"Y-yeah" she said. "I wanted to buy the dress to impress him today." You hummed, understanding her reason for the dress now.

"Well, I won't get into too much of your business..." you stood up, walking to your drawer to take out a large sum of money. You walked over to Petra and handed it to her. She gasped at the amount, it was way too much to hold and it was larger than the price of the dress even. You placed a finger up to your lips, enacting that she shouldn't say a word, and closed one of your eyes. "Buy some other things to doll yourself up, he'll love it for sure."

Petra thanked you profusely before hurriedly leaving, hoping that the dress was still on sale.

You yawned once more before preparing yourself for a grueling day ahead of you today, though, it would actually be something quite enjoyable. It wasn't one of the usual meetings you'd often accompany Levi to, or the expeditions that risked the lives of the scouts, it was a relaxing day. And one to train with a certain someone.

You hummed along the hallway, basking in the sunlight each of the windows casted. While you passed the door to Levi's office, he came out and noticed you just as you walked passed his door. Locking up his office so no one would enter, he hastily made his way next to you.

Noticing the sudden presence of another to your right, you looked at them.

"Oh! Good morning Levi" you greeted. He looked at you in the eye before nodding.

"Morning" he mumbled back. The both of you walked, though Levi didn't quite know where to, he'd accompany you anywhere just to be with you. He glanced at your hand that swayed along as you walked, beneath the cloak of your Survey Corps Cape. He lingered his gaze to it discreetly before slowly extending his hand to it. He took your pointer finger in his hand before looking up at you as you paused your walk. You looked at him before smiling faintly.
