You breathed in the cold air, permitting it to calm your soul. The day was bright, but also quite cold as it was fall. Leaves were beginning to change their color to that of autumn. Orange and brown were very much prominent, and as you paced around your spot, you crunched on several leaves that made their way to you, due to the wind. You didn't realize it would get this cold, but you decided against leaving your spot to head back and retrieve your cape, after all, he would be here any minute.
You suddenly felt arms wrapped around your shoulder as it clips on a Survey Corps cape onto you. It smelled familiar and turning your head, speak of the devil, there he was.
"Are you that stupid? It's nearly cold enough to freeze your whole damn body" he remarked.
You chuckled, feeling the fabric of Levi's cape. "I guess. I was going to go and get mine but I didn't want you to think I ghosted you" you smiled.
Heaving a sigh, Levi insisted that you both began the trip into the town. He himself didn't need a cape, seeing as he had a coat on, the reason being that he had adorned a suit. It fitted him perfectly, the black coat over his shoulders, with his cravate that he always wore, along with his button-down shirt- he looked handsome.
You waked along with Levi, and you were quite shocked that he had given you his cape. He was one for always being clean, never sharing many of his things in fear of getting them contaminated. But you always seemed to be an exception. You suppose it surprised you because he would often let you sleep on his bed, but never did he give you his cape. It was interesting, but you let the thought slide. For now, you'd enjoy this little autumn stroll Levi had invited you to.
Reaching into town, you were amazed by it. The people were bustling to and fro, purchasing apples, goods, pastries, anything the market was selling at a good deal. Your eyes danced around the crowd, greatly amazed by how the people were able to live so beautifully despite the threat to humanity. Well, not all too beautiful, but at most, the people were doing relatively well, and that made you happy.
"Let's head over there!" you suggested, tugging Levi's coat.
He looked over, seeing a stand that sold winter hats. He complied and allowed you to explore the place. You looked in amazement, having never seen such hats before. They were large, and on the sides had flaps that seemed to perfectly cover your ears. The man that owned the stand came over to you and gestured towards the hat that he believed would suit your liking. "Would a fine beautiful lady like you fancy this hat?" he offered.
You thought about it, asking, "may I try it on?"
He nodded, handing the hat over to you. You happily placed it on, but you realized that you had it on backward. Levi had to honestly stifle in his laughter, seeing you struggling to fix your problem amused him quite a bit.
Composing himself, he approached you. "Stand still, you're moving around like a damn pig," he said. You stood still, allowing him to take the hat off you and put it back on your head. He lost his breath once he saw your eyes. They beautifully matched the color of the hat, and the way the flaps on the hat covered your ears, to allow it to frame your beautiful face, he couldn't help but feel his blood rush to his cheeks and his ears. "Tch" he pushed the hat down, looking away from you.
"Damn you, Levi, I can't see now," you said. You brushed his hand off your head and turned around. "Do you have a mirror I can use?"
The vendor nodded, handing it to you. While you examined the hat, the vendor ushered Levi to him. "Pst, you come over here," he said. Levi didn't trust the man, but he didn't want to make a possible scene, after all, he wanted it to be a peaceful autumn day with you. He couldn't risk making your time with him be a waste.
