The next day, the General's inner circle were all called to the meeting room to plan their trip to Ketterdam where Aleksander was to meet some Ambassadors. Amina ended up being woken up first so she left earlier.
"Morning, Sunshine."
"You're up early" she commented.
"Early bird catches the worm."
"I didn't know your diet consisted of worms." she mused.
Once everyone did eventually arrive, they started out planning but some started drifting off to sleep. The darkling was getting more and more annoyed until Zoya, one of the only ones still on topic, spoke up.
"You guys really need to start planning the trip to Ketterdam"
"We need to do a lot of things" He grumbled back, laying his head on Amina's shoulder out of pure exhaustion, although she was too tired to notice.
"What you don't need to do is each other!" Ivan said brightly, still wanting to keep his 'sister' away from any and every man.
Both Amina and Aleksander blushed bright red as the rest of them started laughing.
"Amina do you have any ideas?"
"Patience is a virtue, Kirigan. Creativity does not merely spring forth at five o'clock in the morning"
He gave a disgruntled noise but continued the planning until they were finished.
