"Amina, darling, thief of my heart and my food, but mostly my heart, you know how much I love you right?"

Aleksander was currently being cornered by his soaking wet, lovely wife who was holding a very pointy heeled shoe.

"You should have remembered that before you decided to prank me this early in the morning," she ground out, through gritted teeth.

He put his hands up as if that would stop her but she only kept on advancing on him, forcing him into a corner of their bedroom.

"Sweetheart, I blame Cassi. It was her. She told me to do that."

"Really? And pray tell, how did she convince you to pull such a stunt?"

Aleksander cleared his throat dramatically, "Where to begin, where to begin..."

"Try the beginning," Amina suggested testily, picking up another pointy shoe.

"They say curiosity killed the cat."

He was just trying to stall at this point.

"Good thing I'm not a cat then."

The next thing he knew a flying shoe hit him in the shoulder as he knocked into the wall behind him from impact.

"You are evil, Amina Kirigan" Aleks said looking at Amina with an unimpressed expression, "Pure evil."

"Thank you," Mina bowed dramatically, "I try."

"You don't have to," he scoffed,

Another shoe came flying as it hit him in the stomach this time.

He grunted and started to whine from the dull pain the wound was emitting, which was certain to bruise.

"You're pathetic sometimes," said Amina, with a little smirk on his face. "I hope you know that."

"Love you too," he grumbled.
